Pakistan successfully test-fires Land based anti-ship missile

. .
There are mixed messages. If it was a practice launch of C-602, it would've been called a practice launch. But here, we are learning about Missile Test which may indicate it is still something new.

But let ISPR speak. They know their trade better than any political reporter.

They almost always announce it as a Missile TEST. It is only a few days later that the details surface about how the launch was to determine flight parameters of an already operation system or stuff like that. Do not read too much into this. The words "missile test" do not indicated that it is a new system. :)

It was as per expectations, even though Name is not yet mentioned but look like ZARB or advanced form of ZARB.

Pakistan conducts first flight test of surface-to-surface Ababeel missile

On January 24, Pakistan test-fired 2,200-kilometre range indigenously-developed surface to surface nuclear-capable missile Ababeel. The missile is capable of delivering multiple warheads, using Multiple Independent Re-entry Vehicle (MIRV) technology.

The Ababeel test flight was aimed at validating various design and technical parameters of the weapon system.

During the same month, submarine-launched cruise missile Babur-III was successfully test-fired. Babur weapons system incorporates advanced aerodynamics and avionics that can strike targets both at land and sea with high accuracy at a range of 700kms.

Babur-III is a low flying, terrain hugging missile, which carries certain stealth features and is capable of carrying various types of warheads.

Anxiously waiting for details if it really is a new system.

It is land based long range missile and and hit a target at sea. can any one confirm the type of missile.

.
One should also understand that Pakistan publicly admits to only a portion of its offensive and defensive capabilities.

For every public missile, there is one that hasn't been advertised to the world.

Just something to consider.

. .
There is some thing about this missile... tests are reported with no details ir even a simple pic...

May b violation of mtcr... or may b some thing new

.
Congrats!

NAVAREA warning is for 2 days March 16 and 17 so can we expect another missile test tomorrow ?

Complete denial of any Indian Navy ship into our waters.
What is CPEC for????? One of the objectives is to deny (read isolate) India from CA and limit in the Indian ocean!!!!!
