Anyone can do for now, but slowly and surely as the economy improves the other system if needed can be procured too.. everything in its time..
I think a private company in south africa operates it for civilian use, maybe they will buy for their air force.South Africa also interested in the purchase of PAC Super Mushshak.
They are interested in the purchase of the trainer aircraft and they also updated the air crafts supplied to Nigeria for Maritime uses. They are assessing the aircraft what will be reason for purchase is unknown.I think a private company in south africa operates it for civilian use, maybe they will buy for their air force.
The price diff is quite a lot between the T5 and G6, so due to financial constraints it appears so. BUT PA officers, who have seen its capabilities are left with nothing, but impressive words. It does not appear PA is interested in artillery systems like G6.
if they had invested in the project imagine that But it seems until the carpet is pulled from beneath the feet only then these big wigs get some 'akal' due to the fall.Back in 90 Pak was requested to participate in darter development which may required 50-100 million investment paf did not want to take the risk [emoji6]

The difference between the T5 and G6 is one that can lead a charge, and the other cannot. Given current constraints, a soft loan could be arranged via the UAE / KSA, and G6's purchased.
Initial 30 without Tot, since it will be faster, and then the remaining 110 ~ 140 with ToT.
The T5 could follow on later.
This could very well change the face of PA's Armour, allowing them to decimate both borders at the same time.
@DESERT FIGHTER @Dazzler Would appreciate your comments.
at that time our foreign reserve were less that $ 500 million that was a expensive venture for that time ...
true, The procurement policy is flawed.Y
The procurement policy is flawed.
Instead of buying in small lots, a big order split over "X" number of years gives you a lot.
Secondly, some things like Jet Engines, Tank engines, Sub AIP modules etc are things no one will give you with ease, with the exception of China, so you have to play your cards right.
The MoU is a govt-to-govt agreement which implies that South African companies have SA gov't approval to engage with the Pakistani armed forces and defence industry. The rest is now up to the Army, Navy, Air Force, etc, to discuss with Denel, Paramount, Airbus DS, etc.Interesting. SA is having some really good defence hardware, so what could this agreement by about?
