Pakistan should conduct Plebiscite in Azad Kashmir

China/Turkey send its forces under UN banners
There is no way in hell, China will let Turkey anywhere near Xinjiang. @Chinese-Dragon

Here is the snippet of the resolution passed by UN. Left side is english. The first step has to be taken by Pakistan, i.e. to withdrawn and hand over all the area it occupies back to India.

Kashmir is only bilateral issue. There is no international interest in it. if you want to do that, then you are beating the bush nothing else. I suggest since to make LOC as international border as that is the only practical solution. With that single stroke, we will end the enemity. Think of progress that area will have including both Pakistan and India. There are ample opportunities available. Pipelines, expressways, trade, transits across the borders for the asia. Think differently.
Not valid anymore. Simla Agreement negates all of this.

.
Phoney customer! Their are many Indian Kashmiri's with Pakistani flags here. They can also agree on this Lie. :D

Let them come and claim what they know. I've told you what I know and what happened. What is hard for you to accept? Whole Kashmir pulls out Green Flags of Pakistan on 14th August and condemns Indian Independence day.. do you think they will not express their anger towards India in more ways?

This thread is taking its lead from following two news
  • Pakistan has raised issue of Kashmir in UN and demanded Plebiscite
  • India has rejected Pakistan's demand of Plebiscite and shown its usual lameness
Suggestion:
Lets begin this process of Plebiscite in Azad Kashmir which is the independent state of Kashmir outside Indian Occupation. By starting the process of Plebiscite in Azad Kashmir, we will
  1. Take this issue to a new level altogether, appreciated under international law
  2. Give a new goal to Kashmiris under Indian Occupation to demand it with more zeal
  3. Destroy flimsy Indian stance that Kashmiris are already exercising their right to vote under Indian Constitution
  4. Complete half of the process asked by UN resolutions, pressurising India to complete its half (we know India would try to play but we can always demand international and neutral audience - which will open doors of international press and Media to Kashmir which India has blocked since decades)
  5. Give Kashmiris a more legitimate channel to exert their energies and connect with Pakistan and Azad Kashmir for good reasons and more.
  6. Plebiscite should carry three questions,
    1. Azad Kashmir should be independent territory
    2. Azad Kashmir should be part of Pakistan
    3. Azak Kashmir should be part of India
  7. This will be hard to counter by India - India at best can reject its results but Indian opinion matters least here.
  8. Countries who previously sided with India will also find hard to object or reject such an initiative. Factually there are no grounds of rejection of independent observes are invited.
  9. Scotland has recently went through that and there is a recent example before the world where opinion of people shaped their future.
I know this is not official thread but if this Idea seems workable, we can make it a National and Kashmir Voice. If this happens, Pakistan has nothing to loose but as a result of this Plebiscite, it and Kashmiris can gain a lot.
First conduct a single fair election in your country then come and ask about plebiscite, huh

.

The first condition for this would be moving the army from GB and Azad Kashmir. Pak would never accept that.. #endofthread

;)

I would like to listen to him about his argument. I am not thinking through his head but I know Kajirval is one honest person. I wouldn't have issues having a disagreement with such a person.. I don't need to be in agreement with him to respect him.
Probably you should know more of him apart from what your media channels tell you to really know his logic. And no one is doodh ka dhula in politics.:ashamed:
Just because he won in Delhi against BJP or Congress doesn't make him pro Pakistani, my 2 cents.:yes4:

I completely agree, but first Pakistan needs to formally look to solve the political and constitutional problem in GB and AJK. Then we can conduct a referendum, at least we will know for sure and will create mountain load of pressure on India. We are, have not and will not run away from a referendum, it is in fact India that's done this, keeping the dangers in mind, simply cannot afford to take the risk. Everyone knows GB and AJK want to stay a part of Pakistan.

The first condition for this would be moving the army from GB and ***. Pak would never accept that.. #endofthread
PA isn't really present in a huge number in GB, local regiment based on GB scouts, Karakorum rangers, which is local based is stationed there. That too in military bases, like in any other part of the world. It would be incorrect to get rid of local forces, like for example, get rid of police of a certain area. You know what follows, plus it is a local based force, i don't get your point.

.
I'm sure the Chinese will happily comply when the land acceded to China would be taken into consideration during plebiscite.:coffee:
Until then Pak should just follow UNSC resolution 47 which it has long ignored.
And I'm pretty sure that is why, since 2000 UN doesn't pay any heed to the rants of Pakistanis, regardless of how Pakistanis mentally masturbate about how the future is filled with great things back home.
Enjoy.

Azad Kashmir has its own government and assembly. If they do not want to stay with Pakistan, they can bring a resolution and get it passed. What is the need for plebiscite? Is this an occupied territory where tens of thousands of occupation troops are stationed who are murdering and raping innocent Kashmiris?

Pakistan on the solution of Kashmir is concealed and thinks talks with India are the only peaceful solution but fact is that India would never talk about Kashmir unless India had to gain something as a result. Thus Pakistan needs to find new avenues and new ways to solve this issue.

If Pakistan identifies this is the best way forward, the road-blocks you mentioned, like status of GB and AJK can be resolved. Start this process and I am sure India would come and want to talk to you.

Because this is what happens if you dont.

As Pakistan caught their killers? Ok that was not a serious question. OTOH in India even the most hateful Osama loving sharia singing separatists get govt protection and benefits.

Another victim of own propaganda

Loyalty oath
No person in Azad Kashmir can be appointed to any government job, including the judiciary, unless he or she expresses loyalty to the concept of Kashmir's accession to Pakistan. The oath of office for the president, prime minister, speaker, member of the legislative assembly or the Azad Kashmir Council also incorporates the following statement: "I will remain loyal to the country and the cause of accession of the state of Jammu & Kashmir to Pakistan."[49] (The consequences of not taking the oath for persons seeking political office are discussed below, in Chapter V.)

“With Friends Like These…” | Human Rights Watch

And yes anyone who wants Azadi in Azad Kahmir (cough cough) gets whats coming to them, unlike in India, where peaceful political activity is not only tolerated, but given state protection.
