Ontopic: I think India might sanction concessions IF we get MFN status in Pakistan. However, it is still asking for too much from a country against whom you fought four wars.

Pakistan opposes us on whichever fronts they have leverage. They weren't so amenable when they moved to get rid of us from the OIC. The examples are far too numerous.

KIDS please grow up for god sake its global village and we hate each other even we have doors with each other . secret of Pakistani and Indian even s.Asian development is in unite peace and coordination with each other . please India help us . i am not ashamed to be helped from my next door rather then USA .EU .

It is always nice to witness some humility, but it would have been so much better if such 'help' were sought when India offered a sum of $20 m to go directly to the flood victims.

But no, stupid arrogance prevailed then.

So why such a change of mind and ask for India's 'help'?

Here's the answer: No one cares about the flood victims. We all watched how the Pakistani administration (mis)managed the disaster and relief measures.

But at this time, it is the traders in Pakistan that are suffering. So in the name of flood victims, they want subsidies to occupy markets and increase their profits.

Will that profit money go to the flood victims? No!

Does the government have a plan to utilize the profits to reinstate the flood victims? A big No!

Believe it or not my friend, but these traders are just using the plight of flood victims to gain a foothold in the markets, so as to increase their profits, nothing more.

If it helps you feel better - it is the same story everywhere, be it in the UK, in the US, or in India. No different in Pakistan either.
