FAC-55 delivers high speeds of a true FAC with the firepower of a corvette/light frigate. Its like Azmat on steroids. If it truely can hit 55kn then it will (with the right equipment) be a force on the Indian ocean.
Equipped with Sea Giraffe AMB or preferably trs-3d/16 es you would have excellent situational awareness (180km for Sea Giraffe or 200km for trs) with both surface and air detection and targeting for weapons systems. Exchange the type 76 OTM gun for a Type 730 CIWS and the RAM launcher for fl3000n (given the supply issues likely for RAM) and you have a very potent little ship with reasonably good point defense/self protection capability an aggressive punch with 8 AShM. With 6 of these you could keep all of eez under surveillance from your FAC alone, not to mention the larger vessels in PN.
Question is are these being sought in addition to the 6 type 022 FAC that were proposed to be built in Karachi after completing the Azmat order? If so, that would give PN a nice cadre of light corevettes/ heavy FAC (16 total: 4 Azmat, 6 type 022, 6 FAC-55) to serve along side hopefully 4 MILGEM-G, +/- 4 Chinese frigates (hopefully type 057) and 4 F-22p (which will hopefully be upgraded as the FAC-55 carries better systems at 1/4th the size and 1.5x the speed (albeit less range/endurance)). That os a very reasonable surface fleet for PN and a quantum leap from where it is even today. Add to that 11 aip equipped subs and you have one of the more potent navies in Asia.
@cabatli_53
Sir,
Any idea of Power Plant?
If inducted it would definitely be a very good addition to the PN.
PN also operates MRTP- 33 which should be increased to compliment these. It looks like PN might be getting most of the New designed ships from Turkey.
It surly would give good capabilities that PN desperately requires to defend her shipping lanes and any missadventure by India.8 x Atmaca missile with a range of ~250km and Havelsan developed Genesis Advent network among boats enable them to attack a proper target tracked by any asset locating into same network. Smart-S radar has a range of 250km, While Aselsan Hazar has a range of around 150km. The radar selection will solely depends on requirements.
I actually believe benefits of integrating precision strike artillery rockets to such naval platforms. Such a pin-point highly precision rockets can be used to attack multiple ground targets at shores
I doubt that PN would go for Type 022 FAC's. Most probably it would be Milgem corvettes and might be a few Chinese frigates.
FAC 55 definitely has very impressive features and I hope PN would induct a few of them.
Most Likely these are going to join PN or Coast Guard from Turkey

Domestic production has an inherent flaw. No kickbacks. Can't we design build them ourselves?
PNS Karrar, one of two MRTP-33 delivered to the Pakistan Navy
PAKISTAN SEEKING 4 TO 6 NEW FAST ATTACK CRAFTS TO GUARD GWADAR
According to Business Recorder, the Pakistan Navy is currently seeking four to six new fast attack craft (FAC) missile boats for guarding Gwadar, Pakistan’s new deep-sea port (and a critical piece of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor or CPEC). Speaking to The Express Tribune, Pakistan Navy officials noted that talks have already begun with Turkey and China for the FACs.
Notes & Comments:
It is likely that these FACs are primarily being sought to patrol littoral waters and to interdict and deter maritime criminal activity, such as trafficking and piracy. However, the inclusion of missile capability would indicate that these boats will double as anti-access and area denial (A2/AD) assets in wartime.
With the Azmat-class and Zarrar-class, the Pakistan Navy has experience operating Chinese and Turkish FACs, respectively. Leveraging its existing logistics and infrastructure base to add new Azmat and/or Zarrar units could be considered the most likely scenario.
The Zarrar-class (i.e. Onuk MRTP-33) is a 35-metre design which, while capable of deploying sub-sonic anti-ship missiles (such as the Harpoon Block-II), is optimized for high-speed travel (47+ knots). With a maximum range of 800 nautical miles, it is also focused for littoral water engagements.
On the other hand, the Azmat-class is a larger and longer range design at 63-tons and 1,000 nautical miles, respectively, but also slower than the MRTP-33 (with a maximum speed of 30 knots). In fact, the Pakistan Navy acquired the Azmat-class FAC to fulfill the patrol duties originally envisaged for its corvette plans, which it had dropped in the late 2000s due to Pakistan’s strenuous economic condition at the time. While classified as a FAC, some Navy officials refer to the Azmat-class FAC as a corvette.
Granted, the Pakistan Navy need not continue with the Azmat or Zarrar, but its decision will be derived on the speed, range, and payload it is looking to acquire through these FACs. While cost will be a primary factor in guiding the Navy’s decision, the entry of compact but capable subsystems (e.g. Saab Sea Giraffe 1X surveillance radar) could enable Pakistan to craft a relatively potent solution out of its future FACs.
For example, Finland’s Hamina-class FAC offers an example of how a small (250-ton) boat can be configured with multi-mission capabilities, including short-range air defence (via the Denel Umkhonto) coverage, with an emphasis on littoral defence and A2/AD.

But we also need work develop Missiles which can be fired from these small missile boats but have at least range of 10000 KM and can hit both surface ships as well as targets on land.
Well if @Horus agreed we you that "We should develop a missile that can be fired from these small missile boats and have at least range of 10000KM" i should shoot myself and the blame on him somehow. With my ghost returning to haunt him,, not you but HIM!!!I talked to @Horus on forum and finally found out he agrees with me. Pakistan needs to 25 Frigates in total but those Frigates should have capability of what French FREMM class has. I mean two kind of VLS one which can fire long range cruise missiles and one which can fire long range Air Defence system. Also around 14 Submarines 11 AIP and 3 nuclear. As for Missile Boats. Well the more the are the better. But we also need work develop Missiles which can be fired from these small missile boats but have at least range of 10000 KM and can hit both surface ships as well as targets on land.
