PAKISTAN SEEKING 4 TO 6 NEW FAST ATTACK CRAFTS TO GUARD GWADAR

why Pakistan should buy these when Turkey delivered unarmed MRTP33!
What Turkey sold us was a ship with a weapon configuration which were found suitable for us as we already had surface launched Harpoon missiles in our inventory, so it was our responsibility to arm it not the responsibility of Turkey as they had no permission to sale Harpoon missiles.

As far as I remember US had objection to allow us to place Harpoon missiles from our existing inventory on this ships so they remained unarmed, now fast forward to the present I believe we should consider Turkish Atcama or Atmaca (I m currently forgetting the correct name any Turkish member could correct it) anti-ship missile to arm it

it is ATMACA

I think with FAC(M)-4, the PN is looking at building its own FAC(M) design in the long-run. KSEW is apparently constructing FAC(M)-4 without material kits (my guess is they're speaking to suppliers directly instead of via an OEM) and made some minor modifications to the design.

If you really look at the FAC(M)-series, it isn't too far from what Fincantieri did with the Falaj 2 FAC design. The key is to optimize the space better and add more capable sensors. The PN should be learning this via the MILGEM.

I suspect the next wave of FACs (for this 4-6 ship requirement) will deploy supersonic ASCMs, so they might have their own long-range targeting radars too (on top of using off-board sensors).

The STM FAC-55 is a really high-speed design, even for a FAC (where most click in at 30+ knots, the FAC-55 can apparently touch 55+ knots). It's a different kind of beast entirely.

Pak Navy uses the 33s for port security and patrolling our EEZ on anti piracy missions.

And if needed they can place Harbah ASHM on them.

It has a range of 450-700 KM.

PNS Himmat firing Harbah:

Or wait for the new supersonic Missile.
way bigger in size than c802..this gives them excellent stand off range

i hope we can build them in numbers at fraction cost because IN has good defenses

Of course Harba would be logical solution, i just emphasized Harba's size, i know it has grater range than other SSMs but can you fit it into small boat that is designed for Harpoon?
no you cant its a monstrosity too big as compared to c802 or harpoon

Depend of space avaliable on the deck otherwise we have placed 6 such missiles on FAC Himmat missile boat which is 63 meter long and weigh only 560 tonnes

Fielding , small boats vs Indian frigates / Destroyer fleet is like fielding a Cesna vs Sukhoi-30

1- Do the right thing, get the 4 retired Chinese Destroyers at Lease
They come with SAM , Ship to Ship combat missiles , Cannon , Submarine warfare

2- Buy another 3 Destroyers which China will soon retire

After the 7 Destroyers are inducted, build small boat fleet to accompany the bigger ships

Sir many navies in the world either due to limited resources or considering other factors consist of relatively smaller ships or FACs/missile boats but they can pose serious threat to adversaries. i.e Iran navy though consists of some vintage frigates yet their true strength is
catamaran design based numerous FACs/missile boats which due to smaller size and speed along with some stealth features are not easy to destroy meanwhile they can pose serious threat to bigger enemy ships. On other hand major portion of Israel navy is also based on latest corvettes and FACs, North Korea is another example though their assets are not so capable.
