a single altaf was the real issue . since that dof is locked in media all is well

I have noticed more tourists are visiting Pakistan, just like the old times mashallah.

.
Sad thing is, certain country will fund people to attack innocent tourists.

No surprises there, those nations the lack of respect for life is common and violent life the normal way.
The US is the exception as it is localised.

US is very safe. I have been here a long time. Never felt 'profiled'. Okay, maybe some drunk rednecks at some late night scene a few times were unpleasant but those were the exceptions.

In that list of 50 most violent cities, except for a few from the US and South Africa, all are Latin American cities. I often wonder why?! They are not worn torn countries like Libya or Syria or Iraq are. Any idea?

BTW, not a single Asian or European city on that list either.

Drugs, Cartel, Gangs and extremely corrupt Governments who openly bribe gangs to kill political opposition and rivals I suppose

Along with extreme growing rates of poverty where debt is high as well.

Drugs and gangs/mafias.

Yes, drugs and gangs in Latin America but why there in so abundance? Why the so-called New World is more violent than even the famine stricken Africa or the war torn countries of the Middle East? There has to be some underlying civilizational factors.

I don't know what but I remember reading a comment in some place that said something like 'the Latinos are still the jungle natives with no sense of belonging or a deep history'. That was a racist and repugnant comment.

I have Latino friends and they are no savages. The gangs and drugs are the reason why corrupt regimes survive in Latin American Nations, as the natural resources and exports are destroyed in these countries. Its like a hierarchy. In South American and Latin American Nations the system is this: Government gives legal protection and safety of drug exports to Cartels and Gangs in return for silencing political opposition and keeping an iron fist on the normal people. If there was no Cartel and drugs most Latin American regimes would collapse and easily be Democratic.

In the Middle East However, the rebels and associations take money from other countries, war, oil and the black market of weapons, so they don't really need criminals and gangs. Take for example Hamas and Hezbollah, who receive money from Iran and Hostages.
