True. Some of these guys have no shame at all. They talk crap about Pakistan all day long, yet when we mention anything wrong with India, they immediately divert to how things are in Pakistan.
Yeah, I still haven't received responses from desiman and Bang Galore after I exposed the myths of their vibrant Gujarat in the previous page of this thread: quite convenient for them to just disappear when they have no response to support their exposed myths. Unfortunately, Indians believe in their own hype of progressive, secular Indian superpower, and are quick to dismiss others. Anyone (including Indian nationals, such as Dawood Ibrahim, who even runs Bollywood with his mafia money) who works against the Indian government is termed as an ISI agent, an external problem, because we all know India is incapable of having any self-inflicted internal problems *cough cough sarcasm. For the most part, Indians become defensive of their problems when pointed out by others, and because of their arrogance are incapable of self-criticism.
Pakistanis for the most part don't live under any illusions of themselves, even to the point of sometimes underestimating their country. Of course, there are some Pakistanis in denial; but there are plenty of truly self-critical people in Pakistan, and they are respected in Pakistan (Najam Sethi, Pervez Hoodhbhoy, Asma Jahangir, Ahmed Rashid etc). People say Indians and Pakistanis are the same, yet whenever tourists go to Pakistan are left baffled by all the false, hyped up negativities they've heard from the media about the peace loving, hospitable, warm and simple Pakistanis (for the most part). Contrary to Pakistan, whenever a lot of tourists go to India, they are surrounded by a lot of scammers, beggars, f-ilth etc.
