It's very and extremely strange, US govt hardly address OBL issue with Pak. Seem everything was set up before raid. Seymour Hersh. US co operation and non alley status still in good status. Nothing has changed from US end yet. So, its good news for Indian , but rest of the world is not much interested in this whole issue... As far as we know, he's wasn't even answering the question on BRIC's joint statement but on Trump's recent one. The actual quoted words are very different, than what the Express Tribune has put on headline.

And how exactly does it translate to rejecting the BRIC's joint statement on terrorist groups? I couldn't find anything in the statement saying that the organizations in question have safe havens in Pakistan nor anything about state support to them, but rather that they pose a threat to the regional peace. The defense minister merely clarified that the groups are already being taken care of and don't have state's support, most likely in response to recent American statements. There's no denial of problem, at all, and no rejection of any kind, as far as I can see. Guess, some people are reading and deducing more than there really is. Isolation, China turning against Pakistan, rattling and what-not. Lol A futile exercise in mental masturbation, when the news itself appears to be bogus at worst and misinterpreted at best.

FYI- I had read the dual faced news on the dawn's site before I saw it here.

Your bs is not interested to me man. To help you understand, it says that Pakistan rejects any terrorist organization on its soil and in the same speech is concerned about the rise of extremism.
