Sometimes i wonder whether we can ever become friendly neighbors in the near future!I mean what i am saying is not at all impossible.Just look at the Brits and the French, for centuries they were arch enemies to each other killing each other at the slightest pretext but those same nations became the best of pals and fought shoulder to shoulder in two world wars. The same is true between France and Germany who were sworn enemies at one point of time but since then have evolved to become dependable friends and allies. So there are tons of examples in front of us(both India and Pakistan in this matter)of how bitter enemies became the best of pals once they forgot about the past and thought that friendship would be mutually beneficial to both of them.Nothing to do with any "trust deficit". When Pakistanis and Indians meet abroad, they are like long lost best friends, even more friendly than their own Pakistani or Indian friends. I know it because I have seen it myself. Our governments should reflect ground realities, and ground realities are such that we as a nation we DO NOT hate each other anymore. Its our propaganda ministries run by extreme right wing or left wing that are always spewing hatred between us for their own political goals.
