Pakistan railway to supply oil to PAF, Sheikh Rashid at PAF base Sargodha - inspects JF-17

Fuel is important part even when dealing such greater enemy.
This is good initiative.
Sheikh rashid proved as smart boy again.

What I meant was Does Pakistan have the capacity to refine or make jet fuel or does it imports it in finished from?

I sincerely hope it is former, because if it is not then that is indeed alarming

Yes, Pakistan has multiple refineries that produce Jet fuels. They used to produce JP-4 which was later replaced by JP-8. They also produce JP-1. All Jet fuel to Air Force is provided through local production. What's left (which is still quite a lot) goes to Aviation Industry and deficit is imported. Not much difference between JP-8 and JP-1. Slight change in a few properties and some additional additives.

On average, Pakistan has imported approx. 20,000 Mtons per month of JP-1 in this fiscal year.

Last fiscal year, JP-1 local production was approx. 708,000 Mtons and JP-4/JP-8 production was approx. 166,000 Mtons.

Hope this answers your question.

This should be used as a flyer by the marketing team to show the strength of our JF17.

Nice.. He is fitter than most people think. I remember how he dodged police during the sit in, and addressed the rally and vanished and police couldn't catch him despite the orders from al-haramiyyon al-khinzeeron al-Patwariyoon.

Ah, but could it take off?
