May be US wants ISIS to spread its tentacles in Afghanistan.

Give this a thought. US has not done anything in Afghanistan to secure its future from civil wars. It has not stabilized the country or has encouraged a dialogue between warring parties. It has not brokered any peace. In fact, the only option US has is use of force.

Its war against terror is a farce. It is in Afghanistan not to fight terror. Its there to safeguard its interests. The major interest being holding ground to keep an eye on regional forces. All of a sudden, you realize that by its military presence in Afghanistan, US has become a neighbor of Pakistan, Iran, Central Asia, Russia and China. Now that is a very big strategic gain.

If US was sincere, it would have brokered a dialogue between Afghan govt and Taliban. On the contrary, it keeps sowing seeds of discord. It invites Taliban to talks and then kills their leader in a drone strike!

If educated observes of this whole situation still think that US will bring peace in Afghanistan, then they are biggest fools living on this earth. In fact state of flux in Afghanistan and its perpetual instability is projected as raison d'être for its military presence - a strategic gain and an excuse to keep its military presence.

Russia can't do better. People are being unfair to USA. They give billions of $ to support Afghanistan. They trained Afghani army, you know how hard it is? Watch this video

To defeat guerrilla fighters you need disciplined and well trained army. But Afghan army is as good as taliban or as bad as taliban. Thats why ANA and Taliban fights are always end up in stalemate. In ideal situation considering Afghan army training and equipment, they should exterminate Taliban from it's soil like Pakistan army did.

USA could do it but they are not willing sacrifice more soldiers just to clear area.
