Our soldiers have to train to face all kinds of challenges. It is a good thing that they are training for unconventional situations of warfare.

I don't want to deviate from the topic, its good that pakistan military has woken up to asymmetric tactics.But for all my pakistani friends the Counter Insurgency Jungle Warfare School(CIJWS) and the High Altitude Warfare School(HAWS) have been the choice of many major armies such as US,Israel,Italy,Poland etc to train.
I am not sure about desert terrain but in the jungles IA has some serious capability in asymmetry warfare.

Lol we have more experience than India in unconventionally warfare. We've been doing this for more than a decade. U can train all u want but it will never be as difficult as the real thing. Which our soldiers go through everyday.
