...main reason for traffic jam, price hike, all kinds of pollution, food contamination, and anarchy...

Unless there's some extreme situations (financial, health etc)---your cousins are the biggest jahils for having only 1 kid.

Never have 1 kid. Have atleast two. Kids who are born alone grow up without a sibiling experience. They don't develop mentally. They don't experience the love, fights, jealousy, competition etc with their siblings (for small things such as getting more candies even haha).

This sibling experience is fundamental to a child's growth mentally. I have seen many people who are psychologically off---and were only kid in their household. Imagine the loneliness they felt all those years!!

(Before anybody brings their dumb ideas: If ENTIRE culture is prone to having 1 kids only--such as China--this changes the equation all together since all kids have similar experience. However, in a family oriented culture like Pakistan--where one kid is alone while all/most of his age-mates have their siblings--single kids develop loneliness inside them as their childhood experiences do not match their surrounding that they see/experience around them).

So please, don't be that cruel to your child. Always plan to have two/three children atleast, when the time comes.

Btw, I don't care about Pakistan's population. It very well can be 199 million. Who cares? I was just saying that lets not post dumb posts and wait for the final results of census.

Final figures would be mind boggling. wont be surprised to see more than 220.

Well he married only 5 year ago so we can guess he will have 2nd in time, no, Alhamdullilah he is well off
financially and health wise.

education and life style is getting so expensive that our current generation can't afford more than 2 kids if you are well off...As a muslim i will be accountable for how i brought up my children and that includes good education, their good persona building which requires to provide them with reasonable housing, clothing and food... in today's date... it is very difficult to take responsibility of more than 1 kid. So Pakistan's population growth rate is doomed to slowdown.

We need upgraded figures for population, economic output, literacy rates, and so on.

Also, we need to build massive statistical and administrative infrastructure to keep track of country's facts and figures accurately.

We need to do what Iran does, they have tight control over their population growth rate. You give benefits to families with 1-2 children, anymore and that can get those benefits removed.

I did my contribution and had myself 'snipped' a few years ago. I have NO KIDS, NEVER wanted any. My Gori wife and I are like two peas in a pod enjoying life to the fullest.

One can only wish Pakistanis exercise birth control. Alas, that ain't happening. However, a big hope on the horizon is the rapidly declining populations in many places of the world. I believe we humans will get over our political differences worldwide and become less xenophobic eventually and welcome 'the others' with open arms. I just hope that days arrives before we ruin this planet!

Have you checked African population growth? Despite being poorest continent it's population is set to pass Asia in few decades. Developed world cannot even take 1% of them.
