An Interesting read:

2 important points to be noted here:

1) "Javed Chaudhry, also wrote that at a time when Pakistan was changing its political map, the brother Islamic country, Saudi Arabia, withdrew its financial support from Pakistan."

2) "Pakistan's time-tested friend, China, has immediately come forward and extended $1 billion in loan to help Islamabad avoid any adverse impact of the partial withdrawal of the Saudi lifeline, sources in the Ministry of Finance and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) told The Express Tribune on Wednesday."

I'm painfully writing this but I guess it is good to have 'one master' at a time. You can't please everyone. Anyways Pakistan has relied way to much on toothless and tongueless 'Arabian Brotherhood'. Good riddance!

The time is showing Pakistan's only real friend is the Pakistanis and not even China. China is the strategic partner but not a friend.

I guess the biggest achievement of Pakistan is that Pakistan now pays for everything and doesn't rely on aid.

I think any Muslim countries not in favor of Pakistan anymore. Even whatever we are buying from Turkey is all being paid in advance.

Sorry brother, but we need to get out of these master-servant narratives.
We are no one's servants, and no one is our master on this earth, countries do things for their interest, and so did we and the same shall continue.

Read about how India went begging to their colonial masters the UK and the evil capitalist in their view at the time, the USA. No one says anything condescending about them, and how they had to sign a pact of friendship with the Soviet Union before attacking Pakistan in 1971 because they were too scared to do it on their own, no one says anything condescending about that.

The examples of such behaviour are endless,
double standards only seem to be applied when it comes to Pakistan, by the world and by ourselves. Judging and nitpicking our every action.

We do things in our interests,
The world tried to stop us, but we built the bomb,
The world tried to stop us, but we built missiles,
The world has been forcing us to sign the FMCT, but we have stood our ground, the only country.
you pick the fights worth fight, and it is not possible to fight every fight.

I know you meant well and I honestly do not judge your motives, sadly as a nation, we have a negative streak,
someone has to point it out, please allow me to do just that, I hope you won't mind, thank you.

Do you want military goods for free as charity? have some decency.

on topic, i was of the opinion that Pakistan should develop strong ties with Muslim Majority democratic countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey and to some extent with Bangladesh and Tunisia. only democratic Muslims can be our true allies bcoz they are answerable to their people.

finally sectarian Mullah regime of Iran will be relieved that Arabs don't have Pakistani back anymore, i hope it remain this way for too long.

there are no friends and brothers in internaional politics. only interests matter. we are living in a highly materialistic world. the leaders and nations are greedy and secondly the modern economic system built by the zionists has got the leaders of all the countries by their balls. if they want to get out they cant and still if they try they are killed. we have seen so many such examples in ME and latin america.

if this loan repayment is done by taking more loans then it s not good, saudi economy is moving in disaster and they themselves need more loans for running economy and are not in condition to finance more loans to Pakistan,I personally know many Pakistanis who returned back from saudia after pandemic as they were not paying their salary

Guess what, I was looking at a clip from our FM on a local TV channel being outspoken about OIC's inaction, I was thinking has he forgotten how much we are indebted to those Saudis, and this morning I see this. Now his talk is understandable, seems Pakistan is finally standing up to the Arab farts of rulers. Interesting to see what their next move will be if China continues to have our back financially, their contribution to Pakistan is little compared to the worth of the geo-strategic objectives they want us to push on their behalf. A mere 10-15 bn vs continued Saudi hegemony in the Muslim world.

High time for us to say either $20bn in AID or go take care of your problems your self.

It's the Saudis who are abandoning us and since they have scaled down their interest therefore we are wandering away, as well...no choice

I would say China need Pakistan as much as Pakistan need China.

China is no angel, no one is. China is a rational country. China need allies to help China achieve bigger international goal, Pakistan need China on national and regional interest.

Like any other friendship, we are alliance on mutual interests.

Pakistan and China should strength collaboration on economy and culture exchange as well. Build people to people friendship to ensure stability and long term interest.

Pakistan is the pivot and pillar of China South Asia, West Asia strategy. A strong Pakistan is in China's interest.

Hey, bro. I heard there are more Indians hired in Gulf countries. Any news on that issues? Are those overseas Indians sent back as well?

I am thinking if those overseas Indians sent back, India will lose a huge chunk of $$$ foreign exchange.

Please let me know if you know. I want to estimate how much India foreign exchange will be impacted by pandemic.

When I left KSA in 2015, the number of Indians going there was increasing rapidly.

The Pakistan-Arab relationship does have a high cost, which deteriorated Pakistan-Iran relationship. and the good Indians chip in, trying to make Iran as an enemy of Pakistan.

Pakistan should fence the backyard, the west side, the Iran and Afghanistan. Now with Iran-China collaboration, extension of CPEC, it's time for Pakistan to re-evaluate Pakistan-Iran relationship. India jump on Trump's bed, follow Trump aggressive foreign policy, the Iran-India relationship has cooled down. Good for Pakistan.
