However, AW 139s seem to have gotten some fans in the Army apparatus. I suspect the Alleuttes are on their way out. The AW 139's hot and high performance fits the bill for the forces of pakistan. But dont worry, we wont come and spoil your breakfast anytime soon especially with those.

The replacement was overdue. The Alouettes were wonderful for their day and age, but, as you correctly pointed out, they didn't have the performance needed.

In a better ordered world, you would have been able to buy Dhruv helicopters, which have an extraordinary high ceiling, perhaps with some slight modification that would make them turn 180 degrees, if approaching Siachen (for which they were designed, and where they were tested), or a line of beacons parallel to the LOC in Kargil or Kashmir. They would have been ideal for your western boundaries.

IIRC the PAF committed to buy 14 back in 2016 (to replace the Alouette IIIs). This is likely just another batch order from within that framework (of 14 helicopters). The MRO should already be in place via the Pratt & Whitney PT6 site at PAC.

Don't loose hope, devil rise for ultimate fall..Just look at the most popular leader Nawaz Sharief...he rose to the limit and now he is worthless character ..he is no more...
