There is no civil war going on or looming ahead. There is no chronic food shortahe ahead. There is no regional political force in Pakistan that is stronger then establishment. All major political forces have vested interests in cohesion of state. Baloch movements, MQM ANP etc dont hold much public support to persue people to rebel against state.
Worsened economy will mean more load shedding, more expensive transportation and fuel, lesser income, tougher living conditions. But people dont just decide one day to come out on streets with gun blazing and declare war on street like simpletons believe.

Taliban can create all mess and chaos but they cannot cause a civil war like syria. They enjoy the space provided by our establishment to justify hefty defense expenses. All they can do is guerella attacks and terrorism. They cannot fight a war to defeat a military.They have negligible political power.

Agreed, there isn't a centrifugal force strong enough to cause break up/civil war. What may happen although, in times of great national crises. a charismatic leader like Ayatollah Khomeini or Osama Bin Laden may be born who will promise some extreme new ideology is the path out of the current misery. If he succeeds, there may be new political turbulence as in Iran or Afghanistan.

You are in with luck. Pakistan has such stupid military and civilian leaders that they might offer these nukes on a platter. Pakistani appeasment towards the Americans has no limits. Pakistan has managed to piss off everyone. From Saudis, Chinese to everyone else. Pakistani generals and politicians are true fvck ups.
