Pakistan needs democracy for economic revival

What Pakistan needs is a Autocracy headed by a group of highly patriotic, nationalist, intelligent, and experienced people who only look after Pakistan's interests.

Whats your Opinion on Musharraf ? was he good or bad ? during his time economy grew and he wanted to make Pakistan an Asian Tiger.

india type economic reforms requires india type leaders and thinkers, they have imran khan, he is a cricketer and a good speech giver not an economist. dont expect much from him on economic front.

He was originally planning to go into politics; graduating with an Economics and Politics degree at Oxford

Yes, that's rather expected from you :coffee:

i am just being fair broo. india will make sure no one invests in pak except a few million from china. support bla and all insurgencies in kashmir.india is investing billions in afghan. under the shadow india does the evil deeds. its an open truth. now its a challenge if pak can get over it.

They are Christian nations.

Pakistan's best Islamic role models are Turkey and Dubai.

Turkey is not a Muslim country it's secular and the UAE is based off of Oil, Pakistan doesn't have oil and it cannot go secular fully must build it's own model by itself.

nice i didnt know that. well he can doa good job. i hope he bring more pakistani economists from foreign countries. pakistan needs economists to make policies. imran khan is out of his field now.

No... Pakistan needs revolution first which will then bring trusted democracy.

Doesn't matter lol; we're not gonna look at countries based on religion but on economic/democratic success
Besides, Dubai is living on oil money anyway

Anyway Turkey is no Model Unless Pakistan wants to get rid of it's islamic identity look at malaysia it's balances both Islam and Secularism I've stated this with Egypt, Malaysia is the Muslim Malays follow islamic law while non muslims don't it's been relatively successful however not one model can be used build off Malaysia.

lol malaysia is no economic model for pak. look at indonesia if u wanna succeed

Musharraf is a no-no. While Pakistan was doing great originally during Musharraf-period, he committed too many fatal mistakes to be re-considered back. After all, it's partially thanks to him we're at this point

Malaysia for it's Political model on Islamic Identity for Economy yes Indonesia.

Zardari has made Pakistan a joke I'm sorry but Pakistani need to hang this man alive Pakistan has the most corrupt government in it's history just execute the corrupt horse.

More than half the mess we are in today is because of Musharraf, he was a sell out. Though i do give him some credit for a few things he did improve on, but the negative outweighs the positive. For example, he did not take any serious action to develop Pakistan's energy production, therefore we are suffering a energy shortage today, among the few things he effed up.

However, his team was composed of very intelligent and capable people who were good at their assigned positions. Imran Khan is a honest guy, but he lacks experience not to mention he needs more people with experience in his party.

whoever comes in Pakistan the situation will not change unless the war in Afghanistan does not end. What pakistan needs is a whole lot of foreign investments and fixing on her infrastructure and to sort out her energy crisis, that is the only way it will excel. Right now no one wants to invest in pakistan due to her instability.

Any country that follows a religious model is never going to succeed, religion has to be separated from matters of statecraft and economy.

Reason for failure of religion, all were written over a century ago.

Proof: All the successful state vs. Religiously dominated states in middle east.

Pakistan is not ready for a fully secular state yet just make it worse but steps can be made on a path of it.
