Looks very similar to C-602:

indeed it can be launch via canister diagonally. but i fail to believe that. why put such advance missiles on a small fac? the c602 is just as good/minus the range. also the missile being red and white id think this would be a test fire not a deployed missile.
pakistan has just signed for the type 54 frigates. is id expect they would be fitted with vls babur and canister c602's/harbra
The effort required to modify C-602 for ship use is greater. C-602 canisters are also larger in diameter. Besides, C-602 (aka Zarb) is MTCR-restricted, so the variant Pakistan possesses has <300km range.
Modifying Babur-2 was a much better solution. And its as advanced as other contemporary AShMs, so theres no big deal about it.

.
Ship-launched variant of Babur-2, naturally with a radar seeker. Wait for ISPR's press release for more details.
All Pakistani cruise missiles i.e. ra'ad, babur and their variants have radar seekers in addition to optical sensors, infrared seekers and altimeters.

None of it is true. That shows you totally lack the knowledge about CMs.

. . .
Nope. Babur can be launched vertically, but our naval assets lack the real estate for it. Just because the launch canisters look the same, doesn't means Harbah is a variant of C-602.
It is developed by the same organisation that has developed Babur.

True, but not all seekers are present on a single type of system. Thats why you see a number of variants of the baseline.
Babur C.M, I am 100% sure....

How much is the range? Any idea?
Should be the same as Babur-2.

Of course. Didn't get your point?

i doubt china and pakistan dont care about the mtcr. the chinese may have sold kushdi missiles but when locally produced i would assume they would be made to chinese domestic specs.
heck it would be more expensive to make the babur as opposed to the c602.

China actually does care about MTCR regulations. I have repeatedly mentioned before, China does not transfers technology anymore, as it used to before the AQK fiasco.

Nope, modification and production of a local system is always cheaper.

yeah those are based on missions and purpose... same goes for warheads. Different warheads have been developed for different variants though most of them can carry both conventional and nuclear.
Of course. Didn't get your point?
I knew a missile was about to be tested developed by the same team and I mentioned this as some people are wheeling C602 modification theory which is absurd to say the least. We will see few more fireworks in the near future.
