1. Army is servant to the Civilian Government, but not in this rogue state, here it's the other way around.
2. Army is given a budget to buy defence weapons, send high merit soldiers abroad for diverse trainings, and to invest in military R&D. But instead we have the Army announcing Askari Airlines, the Navy building a fancy club house, the Air Marshal making a big *** mansion which even illegal went onto another public property. The only cars the elites in this institution drive are expensive bullet proof jeeps and jet black mercedes escorted by 2 vans of rangers. Quite brave.
do you know what govt. does for retired military personnel who are btw in age group 35-60 unlike most retiring govt. employees.
zero zilch nada
that gives rise to the need of bahria/foji/shaheen foundation who create indigenously generated funds to form new corporations where these folks get chance to get employed.
what you say or think means nothing in the face of reality where no one would want to join forces if he sees a bleak future upon retiring.
nobody is a servant to no one..every institution needs to work in its sphere.. and advise accordingly..if head of state is harming security of the state army and judiciary has all the right to get him off (read the army act and its allegiance to state in its oath)..if judiciary gets filled with rotten eggs the govt. and president have the authority to clean it up.if a general is misleading a country into a war the head of state has all the right to remove him.President should have the right to kick out the pm and you will soon see it back in action...
at the end of the day it doesn't matter what you think is rogue ..what matters is what works forthe country is adopted.
