What's new

Pakistan Navy releases new patriotic anthem ‘Yaqeen-e-Kamil’

Huh? o_O
Are we still on this partucular song or debating Islam or Quran? :what:

Get a clue yourself then come back.

You had problem with Arabic part aka Quranic verse, I said there are tons of songs by ISPR which have no such religious reference. (No Arabic). Now don't waste the bandwidth here and go listen them.

who questioned ur belief here. obviously, its a language of paradise so you want me to prefer urdu over arabic just because its my language...? liking and realty are 2 different things. yes, I do like urdu more than arabic but does it change the fact.. no

Yet I don't live in Paradise you are referring to. My paradise is my country hence I appreciate it as it is without putting everything through an Arabic passepartout. Is that so difficult to understand?

And my reply is the same as the first one in this thread. I don't like this song and I don't like the use of foreign languages in national or motivational songs.

Just like you I am entitled to have and share my opinion Sir and that is what I am doing. It doesn't mean I reject Arabic language in general or the Quran (nauzubillah).

MashaALLAH this is what you call a true anthem.
Truly ALLAH S.W.T is enough for us to overcome our enemies, we dont need state of the art weaponry or aircraft carriers or others.
The Muslims need to also excel in science, technology, positive arts etc. not to brag but to offer more gratitude to Allah-u Azimushshan for all positive knowledge is from HIM...

Arabic is as foreign to Pakistani as urdu is to them. Learn your own history, boi

And what's wrong with liking Arabic? Grow up, u sound like a turk before they went all secular and their women went all basharam

Nothing is wrong with Arabic Sir, it's a beautiful language and I like it.
Unfortunately the obsession for arabic and arabs matter a lot to us, even to identify ourselvs as muslims.

I perfectly understand this, that's why I never labelled you with anything..

Their is no such obsession, boi
Do u realize how many Pakistanis learn urdu, be sure it not their native language?

Urdu was developped in the subcontinent long before the current boundries were drawn. People from all corners of British India make Pakistan what it is today.

Urdu or any other Pakistan regional language is less foreign than Arabic.

No, to me as Pakhtoon, it was alien more then Arabic was. Like I told you, go read some history

I simply don't find it attractive and up to the mark to appeal to the younger generation doesn't mean I wanted to be disrespectful. Some posters may feel obligated to like it coz it contains Allah's name - - - - - - -

Like the video below naturally creates a spontaneous reaction to chant Allah Akbar but these are just my thoughts

Enjoy the track
I think you could have phrased it better. same lyrics, but with a different more up-beat tune would have done the trick for everyone.

The obsession is definitely there but that is a different topic.
Urdu may not be the native language for the majority of Pakistani people but I can assure yoy that 99% of our population reads and underatands Urdu better than Arabic or any other foreign language.
