RAWALPINDI (92 News) – Pakistan Navy with its unremitting vigilance and professional competence has once again detected and blocked the Indian submarine on Oct 16, 2021 from entering into Pakistani waters.

During the prevailing security milieu, a strict monitoring watch has been kept by Pakistan Navy to safeguard maritime frontiers of Pakistan. It is the third incident of its kind wherein, an Indian Naval Submarine has been prematurely detected and tracked by PN Long Range Maritime Patrol Aircraft.

The recent incident reflects the deplorable Indian machinations vis-à-vis commitment and resolve of Pakistan Navy to defend maritime frontiers of the Motherland.

The Pakistan Navy blocked the attempt by a submarine of the Indian navy to enter the waters of Pakistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.

According to a statement issued by the military's media wing, the Indian submarine tried to enter Pakistani waters on October 16, but it was "prematurely detected and tracked" by the Pakistan Navy.

"It is the third incident of its kind wherein, an Indian submarine has been prematurely detected and tracked by Pakistan Navy's Long Range Maritime Patrol Aircraft," the statement added.

"During the prevailing security milieu, a strict monitoring watch has been kept by Pakistan Navy to safeguard the maritime frontiers of Pakistan," the ISPR maintained.

"The recent incident reflects the deplorable Indian machinations vis-à-vis commitment and resolve of Pakistan Navy to defend maritime frontiers of the Motherland," it added.

What type of Sub was that? I suspect it was an Indian Scorpene sub as French had publicly published the confidential details. Indian Scorpenes are sitting ducks.

Nato and America couldn't control insurgency and you expect Pakistan alone to do it and do it 100%

There are no insurgencies in NATO or America. If you mean controlling an insurgency in a random country 10,000km away then no, no country can do that. Though while NATO forces were in Afghanistan, the Taliban had no power. So NATO can stop a very popular insurgency and occupy a whole country against its will. However, once they are no longer interested in doing so, obviously the insurgency will bounce back.

You do not know if it was carrying any nukes or not. People will know it but Pakistan could remain silent and India would have declared it as an accident.

Pakistan's General are always punching way above their weight.


DHA is for officers not soldiers. And the money the officers pay (deduction from salary) , if every pakistani is allowed on that "price" every pakistani will own a plot in DHA.

For a hostile vessel to be attacked during peacetime rules of engagement, it has to be inside the twelve mile territorial waters limit. Beyond that you could just harass it.
From what we see, the boat was perfectly hunted. It was dead meat in ASW parlance-Periscope/snorkel visible, FLIR ball spot on and autotracker engaged, smoke markers deployed. The only thing left was a weapon drop.

After they were detected n informed as such were made to come to snorkel depth. Which in other simple terms means raising a white flag.
