So ad battalion companies/batteries at gawadar, Karachi and perhaps at jnb, 1 battalion at gawadar, Karachi, creek , and last one spread across coast at jnb, may be other pn installations like javani turbat and pasni

The three new addition of sea king, 2 meant for marines /ssgn assault / transport and one for SAR at sea

Marines version are stretched version and can carry 28 combat ready marines at a time while sar version has more fuel for longer range at sea rescue

Existing 6 will remain for Specialized role of anti ship and sub duties only

Let’s post all information related to Pak Marines here in this thread.

As of now we know that strength of Pak Marines is way more than 1,500 personnel at least a Divisional Strength now under 3 brigade commanders.

1. Commodore Shahid Ahmed (Commander Creeks Brigade).

2. Commodore Zahid Iqbal (Commander FP Brigade).

3. Commodore Syed Faisal Ali (Commander West).

Roughly we say 500 soldiers in each Battalion, and we know that there are at least six Bns so roughly we say Pak Marines have strength of 3,000 personnel.

Major Equipment they are using is still classified except for hovercraft and 2 Sea King Helicopters.

A,b, c, d and hq company each with about 150 x5 plus other barbers, civilian ~ 800 plus

Marines will be close to same

It was a conservative approach otherwise i believe that Marines strength would have reached above 5,000 personnel (800 plus support companies for logistics and communications)

PN already has a base PNS Makran at PASNI.
PN and PAF share the runway.
