What reaction time this is not a BM that is coming in at Mach 19 plus but just Mach 3 and Fm 9n can take out this missile. No idiots makes a Cruise missile with super sonic speed. they are either Hyper sonic or sub sonic to be effective.

Plus the amount of heat the missile body produces they can be detected by IR homing more easily.

About 7 minutes from firing the missile to hitting the target .
But it's IR signature is huge and will be the second brightest object in the sky after the sun and will be easily visible to any IR seeker.
But that's not the point. Point is that PN has increased all their anti ship missile ranges to an extent that to fire a Brahmos at a PN ship, they will have to come well within our missile range and it will be us firing first.
