What's new

Pakistan must take Bangladesh head on.

Horus, admit it those times are gone, when we were having people's with balls who will only think of national interest first every fu@king thing after that.

If ever we have tried that, thingss would have been different.

the population of NE India is 45 million - Assamese are half of them. the biggest gripe for Assamese has been Bangladeshis immigrants.

some of remaining ethnic groups are happy under Indian rule. the numbers of discontented folks are very small even if all of them are unhappy with Indian rule

.
Might be a bubble in your case but our Stock exchange has been performing like this since 3-4 years . That is why it got upgraded to Emerging Market Status . NASDAQ even had a Pakistan day on 14th august . That never happened before .

As far as location goes CPEC is going to take off in 1-2 years which is going to be a game changer . We are already seeing positive effects due to CPEC . World is taking note of Pakistan . Chinese are coming to Pakistan in droves (Both Business and Tourists ) . Iran , Russia and Saudi are very keen to be a Part of it . Its once in a lifetime Larger than life Project . We took a while to take advantage of our location but better late than never .
CPEC is an alternate route for china land route costs 8-10 times more than sea route china wants to build it as a guarantee if anything happens to its sea route pakistan will benefit in infrastucture and power projects but if u think china will divert all its trade through here sir u dont know anything about trade

how exactly do you guys expect to 'take BD head on'? they whipped you in 1971 with just the Muktibahini; now they are lot better organized as a country with an improving economy.

Your military is an ouraboros in an eternal love hate tangle with the jihadi outfits. It has no capabilities outside of bombing inside Pakistan and supplying coordinates to drone pilots sitting somewhere in the US of A.

Fighting words are easy. Fighting takes moral character that has been lost over several coups

.
Pakistan should demand Bangali people to again join Pakistan and i am sure many people in Bangla desh will support it and also it will put pressure on their coward govt

.
WOW!

I mean a more sensible person can trace back recent pakistan-Bangladesh row to a select incidents pakistani politicians did but NOOOOOOHHH... indian stooge rawamy league escalated the matter by criticizing pakistani nose in our internal matters, right?

I admit the politicians will talk garbage about pakistan for domestic consumption but NOOOOOHHH... pakistan is completely legally bind to protect their brothers-in-arms.

and what incentive pakistan could possibly offer them in return ? my friend simple law of nature .. build your economy and your hatred siblings will start loving you back once again... Pakistan should concentrate on its economy, should addressed the domestic issues, and should bring a clear foreign policy later unleashed the force of young dynamic diplomats who should travel 24 / 7 across the world and to establish the lobbies in world head quarters, which right now is not possible ... reasons everyone already know

Do you have any Idea how many Countries are even Interested in Investing in CPEC ? . As for what the world thinks and feels about Pakistan let me enlighten you .

http://tribune.com.pk/story/1122910/pakistan-upgraded-emerging-markets-status/

In a positive development, MSCI said its Pakistan Index will be reclassified to the Emerging Markets status, coinciding with the May 2017 Semi-Annual Index Review.

MSCI is a leading provider of international investment decision support tools. Its decision is to upgrade the country from the Frontier Markets status is expected to generate inflows of global portfolio investment amounting to $475 million by the middle of 2017, according to EFG Hermes, an Egypt-based investment bank. Last time I checked Bangladesh was still a frontier market for the world .

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...an-stock-market-may-get-extra-boost-from-msci

Pakistan’s stock market, which has risen the most in Asia this year, could be in for an additional boost after MSCI Inc. said it will include the nation’s equities in its benchmark emerging-market index for the first time since 2008 .The Karachi Stock Exchange KSE100 Index has gained 15 percent this year, making it the best performer in Asia. The gauge has climbed 4.2 percent this month, compared with a 0.5 percent decline in the MSCI Emerging Markets Index. Pakistan's stock exchange is currently the best performing in Asia . We even had a Pakistan day in NASDAQ . People around the world are investing in our stocks because we provide the best returns . Last time I checked Dhaka stock Exchange wasn't even in discussion .

http://www.un.org/en/development/desa/policy/cdp/ldc_info.shtml

Bangladesh is still an LDC country . The world listens to Pakistan because unlike BD it isn't one .

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/China–Pakistan_Economic_Corridor

Russia , Iran , Saudi Arabia and even countries like Czech republic are interested in This regional game changer called China Pakistan economic corridor . The only country that might be as important for its location is Turkey . Pakistan has attracted the attention of the world for its geography .

This is just the economic aspect and a little insight for you . Military wise we are a regional power with enough muscle to be ranked in the top 10 . We have been part of some of the most important events of 20th century like the Cold war . Many superpowers like America , China , Russia lobby for us . In the recent Saudi - Iran spat we were the mediators and made it possible to cool down the whole thing . Raheel Sharif is more respected than any other general around the world. Look at the level of respect he gets wherever he goes from Brazil to Russia. Brazil Even gave him their highest civilian award . How many Generals around the world command that sort of respect ?

Pakistan was and will remain one of the most important countries in the world economically( In 10 years time) , Militarily(Regional power possibly in top 10) and the strategic location that it enjoys .

Ps... our position is well set to be reclassified as lower middle class country by 2021!
And we didn't had as much time Pakistan had to reach where it is now... comparing in that sense and our current strides... we are going to do better.
You guys can't maturely take constructive criticism... blocking rollingstone from being viewed in Pakistan for a article that talks logic... economic development than military spending. And 4billion dollar in in 2012 alone for the military... money you guys don't have to pay back! We aren't like that. We might get loans for the military spendings but not accept aid for the military

You are not alone in bay of Bangal and it's not about bay of Bangal it's all about Chinese string of pearls which India want to counter.

Wake up kid, you don't have clue who is investing and where in Pakistan they are investing even Russia is getting ready for investing in Pakistan. UK is investing in PSE, UAE & KSA in many sectors, China many sectors, Russia oil, Gas and other sectors.
Your point is?
Investment is a mutual benefit isn't it? Bangladesh also gets lot of investment from these countries... what's there to boast about?

Having no mutual respect for others shows your maturity. Nothing more to say

Hearing about courage from an Indian is the funniest thing a person can think of.

.
I think we have had enough with Haseena-Modi nexus, it is now posing a credible challenge for Pakistan. How do you think Pakistan should respond to Haseena's outright 'moronic' attitude towards Pakistan?.

Not really. India has been a problem for us since August the 14th 1947. But we have been satisfactorily dealing with this problem since our creation. bangladesh is as relevant to Pakistan as is the Eskimos and the North/South Pole. We have virtually no dealings with them, they are too far away from us and we have NOTHING in common with them whatsoever. And hopefully it will always stay that way.

It's Bangladeshis and Indians who are most disrespectful people, they do every thing to just prove them right. I just proved Pakistan is not isolated and it don't need Bangladesh as mentioned before, case closed.

I speak for myself as a Bangladeshi citizen... I haven't been disrespectful to you. You were by calling me kid repeatedly. Pakistanis are not less either... the people in this countries are the same.
I wasn't challenging you with the fact, Pakistan is isolated or not. Nor did I say it needs Bangladesh.
Case close indeed
Have a good day
