I think it's due to technology not everyone has the technology if it's not about that then why it wasn't given to China?

So if Pakistan refuses to pay, it won't suffer any consequences aside from lack of will in to invest on part of mining companies? I think that's a sacrifice worth making. Mining companies mine raw materials for dirt cheap prices and the third world country loses so much potential value of its raw materials. It reminds of the robbery European countries like France do with Africa.

Pakistan can partner with countries and make something that is how everyone starts out! Why not approach south american nations who have established mining industries. South Africa etc. The point is to develop your own industry so everything is not taken from you and you are left scratching your arse where others get rich. Just like oil.

I don't understand why we can't use our natural resources like other country is using? whenever we tried to use our natural resources some thing comes up and we left that project. we couldn't build kalabagh because of what anp or formerly known as nap in frontier and peepee in sindh. I mean this communist mofo's had it been in the soviet union and they opposed something like this! then it would have been the gulag or lined up and shot. they have NO valid reason. peepee couldn't even build one reservoir in all the years they just ate sindh away.

The state showed weakness in the Past and no one respects weak nations. Rather our elders who had no vision, lacked character. The only thing they did it eat roti and scratch their arse and they just made the current generation and coming generations lives hell.

Correct. Judiciary is virtually unaccountable in Pakistan. Why shouldn't they be accountable? Are they some angels? Are they not the product of the same rot in the society? Did some of them not later admit to be complicit in ZAB's judicial murder? Did they not approve Martial Laws? Did they not carry bags of cash to buy political favors? Did they not backstab each other?

But even among the arrogant judges, the former Chief Justice Iftikhar takes the cake! He meddled in everything and some of his actions via the suo moto notices caused huge losses to the economy. And when Musharraf tried to ask that corrupt cross-eyed (Bhainga) judge to resign, the whole country turned against Musharraf, leading to Musharraf's downfall and the rise of Zardari. The whole country: PPP, PMLN, other parties, lawyers, media, and even Imran Khan joined the agitation.

This forum is very critical of NRO--may I ask what options were left for Musharraf by 2008 when he was reduced to being a 'bunker president'? The Judges Movement had sapped his power. He had to give power to someone with enough base in the country and leave and he chose (or the people chose via the elections) Zardari.
