India actually means land of Indus (Indus river). Basically India should be called Hindustan or Bahrat like it use too before British arrival. Calling Bharat "India" make no sense since there is no Indus river in Bharat.

Dude, nobody is arguing IVC sites are found in present day Pakistan, but what was present day Pakistan called 80 years ago? And what did the ancient explorers call this place?? Vasco da gama came to search the sea route to India, not Pakistan. The land has been partitioned, not our claim to the civilization.

Please accept the fact that the only relevance modern day Pakistan has with IVC is, that the site of discovery (so far) lies in a part of land of modern India, which was partitioned as Pakistan. Secondly.. as your fellow poster pointed out, pakistan is a nation of people who are a mixed pot of different races and converts from different religion, so ypur claim would have been true if IVC would have continued to thrive in the site of modern pakistan not destroyed completely. (in case the IVC population moved away to a different land during desstruction, then they definitely didnt go to a place called Pakistan in that age)

Thats not your problem chutia, we can claim ourselves to be martian but that doesnt give you Indus, and yes we are not part of south asia, if you consider calcutta and Peshawar both part of south Asia then there is something wrong with you people who just are not so willing to let us go.

True. For me this map says it all. Every Pakistan should look at this and feel sense of warm pride. Just look at it. When the entire world including the uppity Europeans were running around naked with spears in their hands and ancestors of Indian's were hanging of branches of trees naked in thick jungles of Ganga India a few chosen people on earth began the quest for civilization. We ladies and gentleman, our forefathers were one of the few - Yes what country todays sits on the Indus River Region - Harrapa? Pakistan. Yes sir, Pakistan. The others are Mesopotamia - Iraq, Nile - Egypt, Hunang Ho River region - China and Mexico etc
