ok... for starters... yes it does have superior weapons to pakistan... but LOGISTICS is one of the most important things in any army... there is only so much an army can do with limited logistics, and such a vast area it has to control etc

did the usa fail to see 9/11 happening? or did it allow it?? that is the question... but of course, any act can be carried out.. this has nothing to do with usa or pakistan fighting taliban and al qaeda though in pakistan and afghanistan though true?? its irrelevant

the usa polices the mexico border more stringently then pakistan polices it's own! even if pakistan stepped up the effort to HALF of what the usa does on its border with mexico, usa would be satisfied.

iraq and WMD has absolutely nothing to do with usa or pakistan fighting taliban/alqaeda in tribal areas or afghanistan

lastly... i am sure the usa would love permission from pakistan to send troops into the tribal areas to clean out the terrorist... pakistan wont allow that, so it is upto the pakistani troops/police to do it

the usa has had to resort to drone strikes inside pakistan, to actually have stuff done on the pakistan side.

the areas where fighters are in pakistan are miniscule compared to the size of afghanistan where america has to operate as a whole... ISI is taliban and al'qaeda best buddy

Well i think they should target the hide out. Shelling is no solution nor is complaining. Mine the freaking border. Use drone to moniter the mountainous border and whoever tries to sneak in make BARBQ of them.......... its just simple as that.

Y are we still waiting y cant we mine the border or atleast the areas where there are groeing attacks on the check post . Plus we need to give ours soldier better equipments..............

You cannot seriously call all the executed to be terrorists. Even US ex-President Jimmy Carter admits unacceptable levels of collateral damage of drone strikes. Besides, PakMil is mandated with capture of terrorists for trials, they cannot go around on a killing sprees.....the only killed are those that actually fight the military trying to evade capture.

Thats a pretty stupid argument. ISI passed that information as a part of regular data exchange between ISI and CIA. ISI was clueless about what they were sharing. Giving credit to ISI for OBL's capture is like giving Pakistani establishment credit for the same as they allowed OBL to live in Abottabad (intentionally or otherwise)

I will not ask you for links because I am sure that the hundreds of drone strikes every year may have killed some militants, my contention is merely that the ratio of militant to civilian is unacceptably high. SOP for the executed in drone strikes is to define them all as militants which is, quite obviously, quite unfair.

Furthermore, drone strikes are not only breeding hatred amongst even the secular but collateral damage due to drone strikes are also acting as a catalyst for militant organizations to recruit volunteers...... volunteers, mind you, who want only to take revenge against GoP for not protecting their families.

If that was the case they would not have used Stealth version of Black Hawk helicopters.

I can think of 2 apparent reasons.....singular credit (for US) and embarrassment (for GoP). US came out as the guys that killed OBL while GoP came out as those who were either incompetent or in cahoots. Both are favourable scenarios for the US Government to further put pressure on Pakistan.

If only the US was able to understood the limitations of Pakistan.

ISI passed the information as part of regular data exchange......regular data as in information that ISI gathered on suspected militant targets? If that's what you meant then you are not very smart to post what you did and if that is not what you meant, then you are even dumber then your post!
