Pakistan-Israel relationship

I think that the entire Muslim world should resume relations with Israel and most importantly the Arab world. I think that this will be a better tactic if the goals is to end the Palestine-Israel conflict one and for all. One thing is what we as individuals think the other is what the majority of people thing and something tells me that the vast majority of Muslim nationals in the Muslim world are against a diplomatic normalization with Israel.

In the words of my cousin;

Israel. Over 60% of Israelis either identify themselves as Arabs or immigrated from other Arab countries.

I myself would want KSA and Iraq to have normal ties with Israel again but preferably under the condition of the Palestinian question being resolved.

A normalization in terms of diplomatic relations could also serve as a weapon to pressure Israel.

In terms of Pakistan vis-á-vis Israel then that's for Pakistanis to decide. From a neutral point of view it would be a good thing but the question is if Israel would not always side with the bigger and more trusted (relationship wise) neighbor, India?

@Norwegian

In a thread that has nothing to do with Arabs you use the opportunity to slander us (no Arab user in sight as usual) and to create animosity between Arab and Pakistani users. Just like certain users tried to do during that horrible school massacre in Peshawar. You can get your points across without doing that.

It reminds me of certain Indian users here always trying to stir trouble up whenever Pakistan's foreign relations are discussed.

Thanks in advance and a happy new year to you as well and the remaining gang. Stay safe.

and off-course Hindus also. I thought you forgot to add that.

itni aqaal tu ho hi ge naaa ....

If Pakistan had asked these non-trustable evil Jews to help against Indian aggression in Kashmir, I have no doubt the would have sold us their advanced drones in this regards. Business has no religion :D

When it comes to National Security , business go to hell

Considering Israel has been selling F-16 parts to us when no one else would, along with various "starter-packs" for UAVs.. I see no reason not to follow the Turkish model to recognize Israel and THEN pressure it on the Palestinian issue.

Just say it out loud that now an Israeli is soon to be our Bhabi; all of your stances always end up being linked to some woman somewhere ! :disagree:

Rabbis figured out around the year 1200 that a truly workable Jewish society would have to be pluralistic to avoid the terrible pitfalls that led to the destruction of the Temple and the Dispersion.
Its 2014, and Muslim clerics have yet to figure out the fact that enforcement of Islamic Sharia laws is not the solution to Muslim or Islamic problems in our backward societies :D

Thus Israelis may grow more religious but are unlikely to embrace much more government-mandated religiosity as a solution to their problems; rather, government laws about kashrut, cars, buses, etc. will be dictated by the balance between individuals and communities to practice their degree of observance with minimal friction and maximum liberty.
Wow. And then some here say Jews / Israelis are not smart :)

Nuke it first then friendly relations
Trollish statement! :D

See. Now you know why I hate your typical Arab mentality. You guys are all about weaponizing everything you have got against one and only Jewish state because its creation went against your collective Islamic ego! :D

Israel has no problem having good relations with Azerbaijan or Turkey. Why would Pakistan be a problem, after all we both are nuclear armed? :D

I will slander Arabs because I dislike and detest backward, absurd Arab mentalities. I used to be an Arabist, not anymore. I never found rational, logical thinking from Arabs. All they have is preconceived social constructs which they label as 'knowledge'.

Pakistan's position/importance and standing vis-a-vis Palestinian issue is zilch !

Palestinian issue is primarily an Arab issue...they shall deal with it. Pakistan can support Palestinians on humanitarian grounds...in terms of how their children and women are killed; how they are dealt with etc.

and you really think , they do give a Damn about the pressure we will put on them ?? lolz
they dont even care about US of A , Pakistan will be like a Chewing Gum for them, chew and spit ..

ooh yar tum to best ho...

bas tumhare jaise sab hon Pakistan main to Pakistan to USA ko bhi peechey chod de....

chalo happy new year..

happy naya saal ..

that's a good Quote but cant implement in Pakistan , we have plenty of peoples who are ready to sell their " iman " in few $$....

Like those people needs Pakistan having formal relations with Israel for this. Infect Pakistan should try get as much investment from Jews as it can to raise the stake of Israel in stability and progress of Pakistan, minimize her cooperation with our enemies against us.

Relation between countries is based on co-operation and bilateral benefits. In such relations one party have to offer something and gets the benefit from other one. So basically we can never create a relation with israel, since it dont have anything to offer to us and same goes for us as well.
Trade relations will probably be greater than you think - Israel has an enormous GNP for it's size - but nevertheless I suspect they won't be as big a benefit to Pakistanis as the change recognizing Israel offers to improve Pakistanis' sanity: no more double-think, no more obscurantism, much greater honesty and self-honesty leading to a society with less corruption and hypocrisy.

And second reason is that israel has a very close relation with india which is our arch rival and finally israel attitude is not good towards islamic countries. So in short we cant and dont need to create a relation with israel.
Russia's relationship with India is far closer and as for Israel's "attitude" "towards islamic countries" a Pakistani in Pakistan is hardly in a position to evaluate it, being forbidden to travel to Israel or even represent Israeli Arab Muslims in a Model U.N. setting. So what you need to do is establish relations with Israel first, then discover the answer.

In some cases like this two countries establish Interest Sections or trade missions - de facto embassies - as a preliminary to full diplomatic relations. It builds trust and connections and economic relationships. It eliminates exclusively covert connections that serve secret bureaucracies at the expense of accountability and larger relations. That's what China and the U.S. did (with Pakistan's midwifery) in the 1970s.

However, Interest Sections don't carry diplomatic immunity and in this case Israel's representatives and premises would be immersed into a population that's been inculcated with Israel-hatred practically from the day of their grandfathers' birth. To the best of my knowledge no Pakistani has ever proclaimed publicly that killing an Israeli was a crime. It's no stretch of the imagination to see the Interest Section building burned to the ground and any Israeli staff murdered within a few weeks of opening. Thus the Interest Sections stage would appear to be unworkable.
