Israel have indeed done very well on the agricultural sector and in terms of innovation there but so has the US, China and other nations.

Anyway you should not expect Israel to do wonders for you and the last thing on Israel's mind will be Pakistan unless you two develop some kind of special relationship comparable to the relationship Israel has always enjoyed with the West and USA in particular.

Why should Pakistan not have good relations with Israel?

There is no direct confrontation between Israel and Pakistan. Also Israel is a different country then USA, and it can help a lot in defense sector. Look at how many programs India is having with Israel. Its not that simple that you can make USA give you everything.

Precisely my thought on the matter.

How can you have normal relations with a state whose actions you dont agree with? It would mean everytime they hit palestine you'll have to turn a blind eye to it.

You want to do something about the conflict? Build relations, use relations to help resolve the conflict. You can't intervene and look to settle for peace where you aren't even present.
