It would be. Pakistan would be back to pre 2001 society. Remember those times? I lived in Pakistan for 7 years in the late 80s and early 90s. What a beautiful and peaceful time that was. It can happen again and even better. To make it happen you have to get rid of Afghans from your society, purge them and make them invisible to your future generations. They are heading towards destruction. We have a different path. We deserve prosperity and glory. We should be developed and respected around the world for our achievements and wealth. It is our destiny. Leave the losers around you behind.

Police and rangers are useless. Army can only eradicate terrorists. Karachi should have had a full scale operation in 2005 to root out MQM and TTP militants. There are massive crime syndicates in cahoots with both who have made Karachi a complete joke.

Rangers is part of Army and way better than Police that we see a lot of change in Karachi and peace as well. However, it is true that the threat hasn't countered fully. Lastly, an operator of Special Branch was busted that used to leak information to the terrorists before the raids which enables them to escape though Agencies traced him and arrested. These sort of culprits are present in large number in Police department that mostly joined Police through a list being issued from Political Parties Head Offices in lieu of their work for party, compensation against support as well to inject the influence in the Department which also needs a proper OP for cleansing.

IMO, most of the culprits are gone underground or out of Country or hiding as we see very less number has been hanged till now w.r.t. Karachi arrests because of many factors. Firstly, almost every arrest is made controversial by labeling the same as political elimination and on other hand, judiciary hasn't delivered the speedy and effective justice that these criminals be dealt once for all. Only dust is settled and may remain grounded till Rangers presence but snake heads needs to be chopped which is still a remaining job to do.

The day people sees culprits being hanged, there will be prominent trust and progress in city because currently people still fear that such progress may not back fire and those criminals could be again in power through political gateway/reforms. Until & Unless these parties that are supervising the elements, aren't cleaned from inside with those culprits top to bottom, we cannot see a permanent change in the city as these rats will be coming back to the streets again & again as per political understandings between PPP-MQM etc being in contracts for their own benefit and not the people.

We mostly hear about encounters in areas that low scale criminals are either dead or arrested but big names aren't dealt properly like Solat Mirza and still, the threat persist as the real culprits are being sheltered by the parties like the way it has been happening in Punjab where terrorists/criminals are the main tools to win the election and influence the area against opponents. So we can say that the situation is better than before but crushing factor is still remaining and I hope that we may see in next phase very soon if such is not sacrificed in the name of so-called democracy but political agreements between parties to empower each other and more looting/corruption.
