What's new

Pakistan is starting to open up to tourism

I am sadened that you cannot have an adult converstaion without getting defensive and ultimatly walking away.

But again, I respect your right to do so.
I gave my point of view, you need to learn to agree to disagree. Noone is walking away, I feel like the conversation has ended. You want clubs, bars, alcohol and open prostitution in society and I don't. What is there left to talk about.

.
We should not be rude bro.

I fully understand the postions as I used to be that way.
But with a little thinking and education people will realize that the Quran says "There is no compulsion in Religion" and does NOT say " be my policeman"

I personally think that every document, every school class, every news report should start with that verse "There is no compulsion in religion"
Bro i am tired talking to people like him. Its like talking to a brick wall. They are so arrogant and so deep into religion that they start doing things which religion doesn't tells you to do so. My head hurts when i see people like him talk and i can't help it but only get super angry.

.
HEY GUYS. HAHAHAHAH. I said this in start of post that guys like him are ones who go to foreign countries, don't respect their culture, get butthurt about it and become extremists. Prediction absolutely correct.
Yes I'm a guy

why are you being so hostile?

I have shown you nothing but respect.

And again, you are misrepresenting my points.

All those things you mention already happn in Pakistan.
I just want them regulated so they become safer for everyone.

Anyways, I feel like this is causing you alot of stress so I too will bow out.

Why do i find these extremists always from UK? Hahaha. Beta you are nobody to decide what is Pakistan meant for. It was created by Quaid and it was never only for Muslims. It was for everyone.

"You are free; you are free to go to your temples, you are free to go to your mosques or to any other place or worship in this State of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion or caste or creed - that has nothing to do with the business of the State."

Its pathetic people like you who have changed its meaning.

Moron do you even know nightclubs used to exist before Zia's era? People used to be so open minded, there was no extremism. There was alcohol being openly sold too. Zia ul haq destroyed this country.

Moron, I am a voter, I have a Pakistani passport - I have every right to make decisions and hold opinions.

The reason you will find so called extremists in Britain is because we are Muslim not mushrik. We won't sell the deen of Muhammad (pbuh) for a few extra dollars.

Before 1947 we were ruled by the British too. We won't be returning to that either.

You know, that is the ultimate Irony of all of this.
Islam is so beutiful and such an amazing relgion, but certain people feel like they need to be God's policeman, and once you do that people will start hating Islam.

Literally the quran says there is no compulsion in religion, but these kinds of people never ever remember it and choose to force their religion onto others.

 okay bro, I don't think there was anything hostile in our conversation

For me Islam is such an simple religion. Follow 5 pillars of Islam. Believe in 6 articles of faith. Do good in life and refrain from bad. There, you are a good Muslim.

Yes I'm a guy
Okay i don't give a shit whether you are a guy, a neutral or a women.

The problem is that they then idealize what a "true" muslm society should be and then try to impose it on their homeland (Pakistan)

I recently went there and I was so happy to see how progressive native Pakistanis are. There was music in the malls, movies were not censored, people were just living modern lives.

Best of all, religious parties don't get over 5% of the vote.
Spot on.

Can I just say... and maybe I will get in trouble for this....Why are UK Pakistani so.... ferral?
I have met Pakistanis in every corner of the world and they are the best people ever.
But UK Pakistanis..... oh man... what happend to them?

. .
It's sad to see that someone who believes in the teachings of our deen, the laws and guidelines set by the Almighty is labelled as an extremist by so called Muslims themselves. Why do we bother crying about Islamophobia.
