i think he is hog washing statistics. hormone use is rampant in many countries; how do you turn it into a full grown bird in 4-6 weeks.https://www.indexmundi.com/agriculture/?commodity=broiler-meat&graph=production
telling people that poultry is not fed Hormones is a wide deception tactic practiced by many poultry producers. yes they are not fed harmones is true. How is it a deception.
there is wide concern that BEEF fed with hormones and Poultry kept on a constant ANTIBIOTIC diet is harmful. SO poultry producers keep yammering about poultry haveing no harmones. yet remain silent on the antibiotic concern
Also in the first link, Pakistan is not mentioned at all. Can someone reach out to him and ask when will pakistan be included in this. Also 1.2 billion chicken comes to about 1200ktons . there are many other countries which produce way more than that.
Also I am going to say this guy is lying outright about the numbers.

i have chickens i keep here around sometimes between 300-500 just for home use. they take around good 3 months to mature. mind you the legs of each one are athelics.
mine are not broilers , full free ranging.are they broiler?
Also if they are just walking around they will not gain the weight. For fast weight gain , it has to be a meat breed of chicken such as broiler. also these birds are fed specific diets and dont get too much exercise. that's why they get so heavy so quickly. typically in 5-7 weeks 1-1.4 kilo is typical for broiler in farm conditions ( No Hormones required ).

There is a lot of challenges with broilers, meaning giving fish meal etc. I refuse to buy broilers, sometimes they have fish taste here.
No need, they range freely. we just give regular grains - millet/sorghum if they want otherwise plently of worms etc ground pecking to be had - i have a 1000+hectare farm. Those challenges you speak of, those are exactly why they gain so much weight so quickly ( along with the broiler genes).
grains fed and free range chickens will be like that always. give them some high protein feed n mixed with some oil and it should improve. doesnt have toi be fish. there is plenty of seed/lentil grains available. but Oil in feed such as canola or palm oil is also important.
Not happening.Nothing here to be proud of. We should bycott broiler and consume healthy pulses instead.
friend sorry dont understand some of the words you wrote but the rest yes.... chickens are easiest to keep. fresh eggs daily. Stop buying diabetes creating junk food.Everyone who can should farm chickens, even have a few at home, had a desi murgha every now and then. We should make sure there isn't a hungry or malnourished person in our country. Nutrition doesn't come from coke/pepsi and pakoray.

Basically I'm an advocate of generating a surplus of all food stuff in our country so that food is cheap and we can easily tackle malnutrition.
"desi murgha" basically means free range chicken, i'm asking people to have their own chickens at home. A curry made from a free range chicken has a wonderful flavour, much better than battery farmed chicken.
"pakoray" are one of the favourite snack foods in Pakistan. It's gram flour, potato, onions, spinache and spices made into balls and fried. They're delicious, but should be treated as a snack rather than a meal. Many of my spoilt younger cousins in Pakistan will not eat the evening meal because they've spent their day eating pakoray (they're very cheap) and drinking fizzy drinks.
Got it.... yes, that is correct. when we make stew chicken from these, just amazing is the word. I recall this tourist staying at one of the chalets, came over for a meal, he got confused, the size of the chicken lef was 2x long and of course meat a bit harder; he thought it was a wild fowl that i had hunted from the bush. I said yes, there is a wild chicken here .Basically I'm an advocate of generating a surplus of all food stuff in our country so that food is cheap and we can easily tackle malnutrition.
