Pakistan Is Losing the Space Race

Well...
Pakistan has nuclear weapons, malaysia is a newly indrustrialized nation, Dubai is a major world financial centre. Point is Muslims are catching up fast.
I am also posting from my cellphone. You will have to put up with one liners

Pakistan has nuclear weapons? Man it must be some developed utopian country with 0 problems.

Ironic considering Pakistan was the first country to send rockets into space in south asia and perhaps even in the greater middle eastern region.

Japan sent up a Sat with a rocket the size of a telephone pole.

Actually Pakistan is country with some problems. Its far from perfect.

. .
Pakistani missiles are solid fueled and Sats cannot take the jerks and speed solid fuel give. A country that can develop a warhead and can manage reentry can develop a sat. this is like taking a step back but why do we need a space program this is your valid question.
All of India's launchers like PSLV and GSLV have solids as their 1st stage. The satellites undergo extensive vibration testing before launch.
Pl do visit other scientific sites also for details.
Pakistan does not have a space program as the 1st step in a program is building a satellite , which was done in the 1970s by India. Launchers come much afterwards.

.
But just yesterday SUPARCO developed a great test facility for PAF at SONMAINI.
you're trying again troll me and you're again reported this not spaceport like Cape canarval, baikanoor this site testing missiles like white sand missiles test range in USA think @BHarwana :blah::blah::blah::blah::blah:

. .
How is Pakistan catching up? Honest question.
Well the situation in Pakistan keeps getting better and better. The Economy is past the 300 billion dollar benchmark. Things are improving.

For a false flag like yourself, you sure are lacking in the confidence of Pakistan GDP growth higher than 5%.

I BELIEVE :partay:

Because the future of humanity is space.

And the convergence of every technological achievement Pakistan has made in the last 70 years, some of which you listed, leads to space. To deny Pakistan/Pakistanis the opportunity of being a spacefaring nation is extremely short-sighted. I rather we spend $500 million on SUPARCO than Afghanistan.

Allow me to play the devil's advocate;

What will Pakistan do with a Space Program?

India is launching micro-satellites for high schools/universities, multi-national corporations (that already are integrated within India), and their own.

While Pakistan's buying rejected satellites already in space or buying them from China. There's no robust Space Program within the "Muslim World" and those that do have the ability to buy and send satellites to space will choose India. You don't think Abu Dhabi can ask Pakistan to convert one of their missiles into a SLV? Or the House of Saud finance a joint space program with their Petro$$$$$$$$.

Saudi Arabia and UAE don't have the required infrastructure as of yet. Pakistan has a better chance collaborating with China.

.
So what? Does Saudi Arabia have a space program? Yes we are behind some countries in the space race.

There are more important things than the space race like focusing on the economy
But you are behind in the economy too. Both growth rate and per capita income. So not much better there either.

Yes we are behind India is that.

We will improve hopefully. We do not claim to be a superpower country like you do.

No one claims to be a superpower. If one person writes an article about potential superpower India, doesn't mean every India is claiming to be a superpower. Average Indians just want India to be a moderately developed Middle income nation by 2030.

Even though we don't claim to be a superpower we do dream of it. And why not we have the right to.

yes they have economy, growth rate better per captia income but they have no will and almost negligible defense industrial base, if we have improve our economy in near future Pakistan has a better chance to build a space port in near future inshAllah :pakistan:

Wah yaar kamal ki baar kardi. Dil jeet liya. I hope Pakistan builds a space port one day.

Just stating the facts doesn't count as trolling.
