What else could sikkim have done? They had seen tibet and were not willing to risk this. They found india safer than being annexed by china. And btw look at the size and location of sikkim compared to like balochistan or punjab or bengal etc these states could easily run by themseleves sikkim could not

Yes, on what basis you dreamed Punjabi Hindus and Sikhs will live in your Islamic republic created exclusively for Muslims. Anyway, can you tell what a Punjabi or a Pashtun share in common. Many Pashtuns and Balochs says Punjabi and Sindhis are indian by race and only thing they share is a common religion.

I'm not the one who started the real and fake debate, the people of Indian subcontinent have been Indian for millennia even if there was no concept of nationalism back then we can still look back into the history and say our ancestors were Indian, while you were called Indian by the outside world till 1947 and suddenly took a new identity of Pakstani, hence the identity issues. The concept of nationalism and modern nation state is a rather new concept, atleast we had a common plank of our identity on which we could have envisaged a new nation, what would be of Pakistan had it not been for the British ?
