Government has decided to contact UK government on Altaf Hussain issue and show them proof against threatening and hate speeches of Altaf and will ask UK government to stop there citizen from doing telephonic speeches in Pakistan and spreading his hate and venom.

KARACHI: The federal government of Pakistan has decided to approach the British government regarding Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain, SAMAA reported on Wednesday.

The sources privy to the federal interior ministry said the Britain's Scotland Yard is being provided the evidences containing the speeches of Altaf Hussain on national media especially his fresh outbursts against the rangers.

It should be mentioned here that it is the first time that the government of Pakistan will contact the British high-ups in Altaf Hussain case.

In an exclusive talk to a private news channel, Muttahida chief referred to Rangers ‘as a thing of the past’, which the paratroopers dubbed as threatening language against the security forces.

The Rangers Moves Interior Ministry Against Altaf
Earlier talking to SAMAA in its current affair program ‘Awaz’, PPP leader Fawad Hussain Chaudhry broke the news that the rangers had already written a letter to the interior ministry to proceed ahead with the British government against the MQM chief.

He also claimed the Foreign Office will summon British High Commissioner over a next day or two seeking an action against Altaf Hussain.

Rangers Moves FIR against Altaf Hussain
Earlier, the rangers lodged yesterday an FIR against the MQM chief at Civil Lines police station for “making threatening remarks against the paramilitary rangers force.”

According to the complainant, Rangers official Col. Tahir, Hussain, in a TV interview, used harsh language against Rangers personnel who conducted a raid at Nine Zero last week (March 11, Wednesday).

The case was registered under clause 7 of Anti-Terrorism Court and 506 (B) of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

It is worth noting here that Amir Khan, a central figure of MQM's Rabita Committee, and several other suspects were rounded up by rangers in a pre-dawn raid on the party's headquarters in Azizabad.

Rangers spokesman Col Tahir claimed that those arrested were involved in criminal activities, asserting that Faisal Mota, a death row convict, was also found from the office.

Col. Tahir said that weapons supposedly stolen from NATO containers, were also recovered from the office, a charge MQM strongly denies.

MQM responds to FIR
Responding to the registration of an FIR against Altaf Hussain MQM’s Coordination Committee said that it would come up with a response after consultation with legal experts.

In a joint statement from London and Karachi, MQM’s Rabita Committee said, “Our legal and constitutional experts are examining the FIR lodged by Rangers. MQM will tread a legal course against the FIR.”

“The allegations leveled against Altaf Hussain, prima facie, negate facts,” according to the statement.

The Coordination Committee said the MQM chief faced countless such cases in the past also and again he would defend the new allegations within the ambit of law and constitution. –SAMAA
