Pakistan government and TTP working on a peace deal

I wouldn't trust Twitter handles putting out such news. Let's wait.
As for peace deals, the word is very broad and more details need to come out, if this turns out to be true.
That being said, the TTP are evil Kwarij by nature and not trustworthy.

I have met quite a few Baloch in Saudi Arabia.

They are quite patriotic. An independent Balochistan is not feasible. They do not have the resources or manpower to be a self-governing country.

These baboons are just traitors.

. .
TTP are mercenaries. These are criminals and warlords. They have no ideology.

Negotiations is the best solution. Those who dont come to the negotiating table will be eliminated. TTP knows this.

If Talha's supposed source can be trusted, which is a big if, at best it says that Pakistan is testing the waters because there is no official word. Whether the state will invest the political capital in a peace deal so close to elections is an open ended question.

There are advantages to a peace deal as superpower competition in the region heats up, it is in Pakistan's best interest to avoid being caught in the crossfire and work out these internal issues.

But it brings us back to the core issue I have talked about and that is Pakistan does not have an endgame in mind for the TTP problem. There is movement on the security of Balochistan and we have an official word on it but TTP remains an afterthought.

We talk about TTP when some bomb goes off and PDF quickly denounces Bajwa, followed by a demand for MRAPs and some tactical changes or better coordination. All opinions I have great respect for and support but none will lead to end of TTP.

We can't completely destroy every single faction of the TTP?

This is the question we ought to ask from the state? What is their plan for TTP?

I only have a few cues to go by.

Has US completely destroyed the threat of Al-Qaeda and its proxies after spending trillions and 20 years?

America is a superpower. Pakistan is not.

We are a poor country facing massive security issues and failing state institutions.

Their delusional fanboy accounts are boasting that Pak army is the one begging for peace talks lol

Outcome of the last deal was attack on Karachi Airport. I don't think one can ask to reinforce the failure

This is a news, if true, would send shock waves in the backsides of officials in certain countries.
Doval's toilet continued to have "occupied" sign in last week.
This news would be ultimate straw which breaks the camel's back.

Honestly speaking, he should be sacked by the Indians. All his efforts and huge amount of money he spent to create terror networks; train and financed terrorists against Pakistan have come to noughts.
If he has an iota of respect for himself, he should resign immediately.
In his place we want Shah to take over India's NSA job.
Once he has faced the ultimate insult too.
Modi then should assign himself to the position.

This way we can take care of all Pakistan's enemies gradually and one by one, in order of their importance. :sarcastic: :sarcastic:

There is no reason to negotiate with Indian dogs. They should be eliminated.

.
There should be no negotiations with the terrorists ...like Russia has it in their constitution, so should we have it too.

.
Negotiating with group which killed 65,000+ Pakistanis in span of 1 and half decade. Pakistani establishment has gone mad.

people will lose all trust in the state if this happens. What sort of peace agreement does the state stand to achieve with ttp.Any sort of agreement will just buy them more time to plan their next bloodshed.Lanat to those who are hoping to make peace with murderers of aps children and thousands of pakistanis.
