Pakistan Getting MI 28 and Surface to Air Missiles from Russia?

.
Mi 28 and pantsir we should grab them with both hands

If China can not offer system similar to Buk-M2E then we should purchase that too as it can engage tactical ballistic missiles which means capability to hit high altitude targets.

.
@Penguin does China has upgraded versions of said Russian SAMs which are better then those or they can offer much better SAMs of their own to Pakistan?

Also what weapons systems Russia can offer Pakistan that China can't now?
China has Tor and Buk and S-300 developments as well as numerous domestics systems.
China doesn't have a Pantsir S1 equivalent.

The HongQi-16 (HQ-16) is a third generation Chinese land-based mid-range surface-to-air missile defense system. It is similar to Russia’s SA-11 Gadfly or SA-17 Grizzly, and seems to be an evolved, Chinese version of those system. However, while the missile is similar, it is not fielded in the same manner or on the same type of vehicles.

HQ-16’s performance data is roughly:
  • Effective range of 1.5-30 km
  • Effective Altitude of 10-6000 meters
  • Single hit probability of 0.7-0.98
  • Reaction time 5-8 seconds
  • 2.9 m long missile
  • Projectile diameter 0.232 m
  • Weighs 165 kg
  • Warhead weight of 17 kg
  • Maximum flight speed of Mach 2.8

We do have few billion dollars laying around that we got from Saudia as well
In other words, wish list.

Well its a wish list when you plan to have something but you can't have like F-35 etc so this stuff is now attainable

It means that Pakistan must look into Mi-28NEs & Pantsirs-S1 systems as China can not offer those while we should compare Tor & Buk systems with Chinese equivalent of those and the better ones should be inducted.

.
Russians have understood Chinese will earn through their designs if they are not going to export their's
indeed china has become a competitor to the OEMs

Effective altitude is much more than 6000m. Plus it seems China does have a Pantsir type system, the FK-1000.

Except for Buk it is also apples/oranges given the vehicle differences.

Indeed (q: is this FK-1000 already past small scale model stage i.e. are there pics of a full scale operational vehicle?) FK-1000 is interesting as it seems to sport a tracking radar, similar to Tor.

Apparently, it has:

Well , In term of Effectiveness or usability in actual war scenario

Is there any comparison between the systems

Tor-M2KM (SA-15) = $250 Million (10 Units @ 25 Mil a pop) (Long range)
SA-17 "GRIZZLY" (BUK-M2) = $225 Million (3 Units @ 75 Mil a pop) (Long range)
Pantsir = $286 Million (22 Units @ 13 Mil a pop) (Short/Medium range) good buy

Vs the SAM system china has like systems like FT-2000 Or similar

It would be nice to see if PAKISTAN ARMY will choose all three systems or go for 2 out of 3 scenario

The Tor-M2KM system has come up quite a few times , but people generally mention the S-300 system more often so I was eager to know if there was any comparison grid vs the Russian vs Chinese system options

.
mi 28 would be great but only with tot or we will be back where we started from(cobras). pantisar is a very good option in the short to medium range and better than the Chinese counterpart,we should get the rest of the long and medium range missiles from china as they are more upgraded than the Russian ones and since china is a more reliable ally
