Pakistan demands Afghanistan to hand over arrested ISKP chief for investigation.

. .
Well, what about going all on Soviet KGB Alpha Group.

.
Pakistan demands? How cute of Pakistan foreign office.

A self respecting nation would be conducting air strikes. Say what you will about erdogan, one disagrees with many of his policies, but he conducted air strikes in syria despite US and Russian presence.

On a side not, the afghan bhai group should be held directly responsible for each terrorist act committed by afghans.

Erodogan is like Zia, and is puppet of US,
As for Russia and Syria, Syria is very weak country due to US, Nato Countries, Arab Countries, Israel and ISIS, Al Qaeda and other proxies, But Russia is on Syria`s back, Russia is not f*cking Turkey, because it has to sell its military equipment to support for its economy... All countries are fighting due to Gas Pipeline, but US/Turkey/Arab/Nato countries are failed to achieve their target...
Russia is soft to Turkey, because it has to sell weapons, but it continually support Syria than Turkey... and Erdogan is Totally stupid and it will get nothing... Even with S-400 Turkey can stop Syria, but not Russia..

I m no fan boy of Erdogan. For me he is making a big mistake. He should never have hosted the Free Syrian army. Instead he should have talked to assad in 2011 when uprisings began. Instead he chose to follow obama.

Muslims should never look each other with sectarian view points.

However, he is brave enough to strike inside a foreign territory. While Pakistan is demanding the president of Afghan pradesh who barely owns his own toilet that hand a war criminal who has killed hundreds.

Pakistan on Thursday asked Afghanistan to hand over Aslam Farooqi, the leader of the Afghan affiliate of the militant Islamic State (IS) group, who was arrested by Afghan authorities last week.

A Foreign Office statement said the Afghanistan ambassador to Pakistan was called to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to convey Pakistan’s views with regard to the arrest of Islamic State Khorasan (ISIS-K) leader Farooqi, which was announced on April 5.

It was emphasised that Pakistan had been expressing its concerns about the activities of ISIS-K, "which were clearly detrimental to Pakistan", the FO spokesperson said, adding that Islamabad's position in this regard was being regularly shared with the Afghan government and others concerned.

"It was underscored to the ambassador that since Aslam Farooqi was involved in anti-Pakistan activities in Afghanistan, he should be handed over to Pakistan for further investigations," the statement said.

The FO underlined during the meeting that the two countries should "coordinate actions against the menace of terrorism, including through established mechanisms", it added.

Afghanistan's National Directorate of Security (NDS) had arrested Farooqi, also known as Abdullah Orakzai, saying he was the mastermind of a recent attack on a gurdwara in Afghanistan.

At least 25 people were killed in the attack on the Sikh temple in Kabul on March 25 where worshippers were offering morning prayers. The attack had been claimed by IS.

Pakistan had earlier this week rejected reports circulating in the Indian media that linked Pakistan's security agencies to the attack on the gurdwara.

A report by Indian publication India Today had quoted Afghanistan's NDS as claiming that Farooqi had ties with Pakistan's premier intelligence agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).

The report also claimed that Farooqi enjoyed "close relations" to the Haqqani network and the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).

Responding to the allegations, the Foreign Office had said that it rejected the "officially-inspired reports" and termed them part of a "well-known smear campaign against Pakistan".

The Afghan National Security Advisor Dr. Hamdullah Mohib has said that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorist group has been defeated in Afghanistan as he informed regarding the growing capabilities of the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces capabilities as compared to the militants and terrorist groups.

Dr. Mohib made the remarks during a meeting with Ali Shamkhani, the Secretary of the National Security Council of Iran.

Pointing towards the ongoing efforts to revive the Afghan-led peace process, Dr. Mohib said the people of Afghanistan want a lasting peace with dignity as he emphasized that the regional countries should assist Afghanistan in this regard.

He said a national consensus exists regarding peace process in Afghanistan and regional consensus is also needed to bring peace and stability in Afghanistan, a consensus which should be based on government to government relations.

According to Dr. Mohib, terrorism is an ominous phenomenon which threatens both countries, emphasizing that instability in one country would destabilize the whole region.

In his turn, the Secretary of Iran’s National Security Council reiterated Tehran’s continued support and hailed the Afghan government for its steps in various sectors.

I recall this from over a year ago. Afghan government has been providing cover for their proxies by insisting that ISIS-K does not exist in Afghanistan. Funny how the Americans cut aid and all of a sudden ISIS-K leaders are captured in Afghanistan.
