Military Strength is tied to Economic Prowess. Pakistan has the potential to become 4th or 5th Military power real quick once it sorts out its Economy. It is mind boggling what Pakistan Armed Forces have accomplished with a Defence Budget of 5 Billion USD.

With a budget of $5,000,000,000 Pakistan has become a Nuclear Power and has a standing Army of 600,000 soldiers. Just Imagine what our Armed Forces could do if we gave them a budget of 25 to 50 Billion USD.

And this all depends on next govt and who will run the country I pray to Allah Almighty that Imran khan wins coming elections and make a honest and patriotic team who is Pakistan oriented than door to all things will open

First step of Imran khan will be to bring out country of all this chaos and stabalise the dying economy and its also will be the job of overseas Pakistanis to send as mush money to Pakistan tas v can to help him in his cause

I am reminded of what Alexander once said that "an Army marches on its Stomach", meaning a well fed army can cover a lot of terrain and will conquer lands. In this day and age, What an army can accomplish is based on its Budget. Pakistan Armed Forces have done wonders with a budget of 5 Billion USD. Just Imagine what it could do with 25 billion USD budget. Let me put up some numbers, together:

Projects spread over 5 years: Total 50 Billion USD over 5 years or 10 Billion Annually

PAF could use 10 Billion on a state of Art 5th generation 150 Aircrafts with complete transfer of Technology, spread over 5 years ( could be a Pakistan/China or Pakistan/Russia Joint venture).

Army could use a 5th Gen. 250 attack helicopter using another 10 Billion project, spread over 5 years.
Army could also use another 5 billion USD for updating its armored Division, spread over 5 years.

Pak Navy could induct 10 Nuclear Submarines with complete Transfer of Technology - 10 Billion USD project spread over 5 years

Another 15 Billion allocated for 5 year Project for Sattelite and Space Projects and Nuclear enhancements and Power plants.

Additional Annual Budget items (10 Billion USD Annually) :

Army could go from 2 Mechanized Strike Corps to 6 Mechanized Strike Corps adding another 4 Billion USD, Annually.Army could have a Research and Development budget of 6 Billion Annually for State of art Technology projects. The Annual projects add up to 10 Billion USD.


Add to that the current 5 Billion USD budget.

So a poor country like Pakistan has a secret Stash of cash that the Parliament of Pakistan is unaware of ?
