Pakistan crisis puts army back in the driving seat

.
They are mounting pressure amid the political crisis in Pakistan. I posted another thread yesterday, the source was Mubshar Luqman from ARY. He was saying on TV about how the cyber team of Indians have lately jumped on the Nawaz bandwagon and started defending him on social media while bashing Pakistan army and IK at the same time. Guess we are seeing the effects here as well.
There is no 'cyber team'.
Even I see that Nawaz is good for Pakistan. He is building prosperity in Pakistan - building from power plants to Metro to highways. Managing resources well. A billion times better than the last GoP(Zardari). He has a majority mandate.

Democracy will become a joke if an elected Prime Minister has to resign because of a few marches of maybe 10,000(?) people compared to the mandate of tens of millions he has received. This is hooliganism.

Its called unnamed and that is how journalists work. They rarely reveal their sources. The only point you ought to consider - do you consider reuters as a reliable outlet or you do not. Because the agency stakes its reputation on these things.

:) actually thats how we make up stories not a new thing but you need to understand that these are assumptions/opinions by newswire . There is nothing concrete.

On the other hand can anyone tell us what maximum NS concede to Army ?

If he is good or NOT or even WORST for Pakistan i believe he should complete his tenure.

We need to let the democracy continue its journey

You see my point @WebMaster

It's quite clear now that Pak army is really a Punjabi army, allowing to nawaz to carry on aslong as he shares space with them.

Army will support the man from an ethnic group it has risen from, regardless of what the public want or what other Pakistanis want.

Can you not see what is happening? How can you say this? I think your ethnic-based view is getting the better of you.

The same reasons why our westerns neighbours were getting their panties wet after 2014 Indian elections .
Not sure if you went around feeling the panties but when some Devis in Dhotis started chest thumping that Modi would destroy Pakistan within six months, then yea we were inclined to put egg on their face.

YES it is like that. There are basic reasons for it

1. Sometimes insiders /own people of an entity, group, party, govt deliberately release information.

2. We dont want to lose our inside sources.

3. Sometimes its only our opinion/ agenda/policy

4. Sometimes merely speculations which we want to confirm if otherwise.

5. Sometimes Media wants to dictate the government and other institutions

For the same erason you guys were complaining about legally elected Congress Govt in India.

NS supporters are there BUT again they also know rigging was ripe.

Qadri wants a mess whereas PTI though started in a good faith but due to Qadri is now in a fix.

Lastly am sure Army will save the day . NS will stay . The public pressure is already pushing NS to think over Election Reforms.

We did not complain in the beginning of second term they were good in the 1st term more often than not and hence they came but we started blamin only after all those corruptions came out....

Army will save the day??so they support NS is it?

Whateva man this shud result in good future for Pakistan it shudnt result in chaos...

Less the Army, more about supporters of Musharraf in the Army and retired officers. Qadri and Ik are their game to get Musharraf out of the mix and have him flee.

Pakistan crisis puts army back in the driving seat? But I thought the Pak Army was always in the driver's seat since 1947! :P

You thought?...While the whole world knows it!!.....:P Army should be made permanent ruler of Pakistan. May be Modi knew (through RAW) what was going to happen inside Pakistan, that's why he called off the talks. He thought it is better to talk to the real rulers than to the bunch of pretenders!!

Well said. India is acting like a cry baby.

How are we suppose to resolve issues without "talking" to stake holders?

I guess they just wanna talk on the border with guns as usual.
How are they the only stake holders, why dint he meet other groups and parties in Kashmir.

Hush. Don't say it out-loud! :D

I really don't get it...If some government comes in with utmost single majority why these people are complaining ???
I had good op abt IK but these acts are making him look not so good..
Why there is no support from those who voted for NS that he should stay on???
Are Pakistani people really behind IK and Qadri and want a government change?
On what side the army is in?

Folks from Pakistan let me know answer to the above ones ..I am really baffled at what is happening...

a lot of those votes were faked. IK first wanted the government to re-calculate the votes, but that fell on deaf ears. So now this is what's happening as a result of not doing anything, Nawaz knows he didn't win fair and square, he probably would've had a minority, if not elected at all.
