Pakistan could have up to 250 nuclear warheads by 2025, says report | Janes

. . . .
why do we need more unless we plan to nuke the whole world. The cost of producing and maintaining them is not justified especially considering our economic situation.
The cost of the survival is always justified ..
That's because you do not understand how military technology works. If enemy employs more counter measures, the need for the number of warheads goes up...this is simple statistics and probability.

Furthermore, now the cost of making nukes is quite low for Pakistan since we already have all the facilities in place and the team of scientists and highly skilled engineers and technicians which may require billion of dollars and decades of hard work for any other nation that may want to start now (ignoring geo strategic and global political implications). Especially as our opportunities for advanced conventional capabilities are being curtailed.
And if you can't understand all this, then be silent and trust your defenders and strategists.

I would say;
Mind your own business.

Pakistan is a sovereign country, we will do whatever we have to ensure our Safety and Security.
No one can dictate us to restrict ourselves to any limits.
:tup::tup::tup:
That's the best answer to such biased and anti-Pakistan elements. No need for long and lengthy explanations ...simply because we don't owe them.

Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.

Pakistan does not have 600kT nukes. And the guy you quoted himself says he's not an expert.
Sure our nuclear commanders sent u an e-mail that guy works at major American physics research institute working on fusion energy and has far more knowledge then a hindutva troll like u have on the matter y guys usually jump at western analysis when its against pak but when the facts r not on your favor u start rundi Rona what bigotry ;)

Fyi Sonny fusion energy on which that guy is working is most complex form of nuclear technology he isn't a weapons expert because he doesn't work on nuke bomb but he is definitely a nuclear expert and perhaps he is being humble :)

In Modern English,
And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged.

Here are more details

Babur 1 -350 km, Shaheen 2 - 2000 km, and Shaheen 3 assumed having 2900 km

Do me a favour read his credentials and then post, he was being humble, something you don’t seem to understand...As for 600Kt look at the date of the article, Pakistan has moved on.

If you cared to read the answer in its entirety :

1. The potential "bombs" will be much heavier as this expert says. How heavy? Well this heavy
yield-to-weight.png

Being a boosted warhead, it will have a yield to weight relationship given by third line on this graph :

0.1 Kt per Kg.

so a 450 Kt bomb will weight 4500 KG. A 600 kt will being 6000 KG.

No Pakistani missile can carry this monstrosity --if it were to be ever built or tested.

There is a reason why all world power go for fusion based bombs. A deliverable fusion boosted fission bomb is simply not possible for the ranges you are talking about because to deliver it you will need airplanes making them useless for most of strategic purposes.

2. Pakistan simply does not have enough nuclear fuel to produce 100 of these tactically useless monstrosities. Refer to my earlier comment about amount of HEU available to Pakistan and requirement per weapon.

In the end, these untested designs are not deliverable and even if it works, Pakistan cannot deliver 100s of them as some of the forum members are all raving about.

Also, while you are at, care to instruct members here to keep the discussion civil. I can too very well use the choicest of words but I prefer to argue with facts and not jingoism.

@Iqbal Ali
Leave it man. Facts are beyond your ability.

Spiking the warheads does not make them heavier, he also said there will be less warheads and not NO warheads, you came out with that.
Pakistan has also imcreased its prouduction of fuel, and they’re plenty of sources for this.
You should take your own advice and read up more.

Is there any expert here? Can someone tell me where Pakistan gets its Uranium and Plutonium from? Do we mine it in Pakistan? Is it finite or infinite?

You will be really surprised to know that :
Most of the folks behind the Indian Atom bomb are Dravidians.
Most of the south Indians do not recognize them selves as Dravidians.
Tamil is spoken in very small part of South India, just one state.

Irrelevant.

More Indians worked for British during the Raj yet it didn't change the fate of British India. What ensued was partition. India is a political union with a long list of seperatist movements from Khalistan, Kashmir to the Seven Sisters. Any political or social trumoil that weakens the center or wipes it out will spell the end of Indian union, i.e., one nuke is all its going to take to undo India.

After one bomb, Pakistan will get 10s of bombs till India can ensure no military installation exists which can launch a bomb. Followed by Indian invasion.

Bollywood fantasy.

As stated previously, Indian government can't provide toilet for its people you can't expect it to coordinate any meaningful response to a nuclear strike.

Numbers are increasing in large part due to expansion of low-yield TNW for use in cruise missiles and TBM.
That does not answer my question at all. Can you quote what part you are referring to? I am asking about the Uranium and Plutonium Stockpile of Pakistan.

As in, Pakistan needs a source for Uranium and Plutonium to make weapons from, where is that source? Is Pakistan mining Uranium? Because to make HEU you need normal Uranium first.
