Sabse bada rupaiya !Kashmir versus Tamatar... Kya equation hai...
Its not a bad decision,Miftah is a pragmatic politician, not a populist one
its same with regards to India, only the volume here is larger. With China it is almost totally one way trade.
No trade or talks with India until India gives IOK to Pakistan.
The proximity of Indian Punjab to Pakistani Punjab will make it a good deal for both sides because of less transport cost. Its not a bad decision,
looking at their economic situation trade with India should have been opened much earlier.
Pakistan needs more economic power in order to become more powerful. Having nukes and a strong military is not enough.
Pakistan is not a critical economic partner to any country. We can change that by doing the following.
1. Build rail links with Iran and India so that the massive Indian population could take vacations in Pakistan and Iran
2. Become an oil/gas pipeline transit to deliver energy from Iran/Iraq to India/Bangladesh. Lobby to connect the pipelines to other oil/gas producers in the area.
3. Coupled with #1, expand the container port in Karachi so that exports(to Europe) from Indian Punjab can be routed through Karachi.
