You will keep wishing that because it justifies your raison d'etre. I have been hearing this from pessimist quarters since my childhood but hindu majority Bengal and Maharashtra and perhaps Bihar also had muslim chief ministers. but these chief ministers never got into communal politics.

I was saying what else could be the reason for electing a butcherer of muslims. It's because the hatred hindus have for muslims. There are few who don't hate muslims just like there are muslims in Pakistan who don't hate Hindus but electing modi proves that majority hates muslims.

Ok so you verified my statement. One mistake instead of WB it was Assam when during 1980-81 Mr. Anwar Taimur was the chief minister. These are hindu majority states that elected muslim CMs and we have muslim majority kashmir. So the argument that only muslims will elect muslims is not correct. Indian constitution does not discriminate on religion and every citizen can aspire to occupy the highest position in the country. Can this be thought of in your country? your constitution discriminates against non muslims and hence you try to find one example from us and highlight that in order to justify your official discrimination. Can your president, army general, air force chief, Intelligence chief, foreign secretary and Chief Minister of a state be a non muslim?? In India all these positions have been occupied by non hindus. Please take a break and ponder over it.

You would also remember that during 1971 war the top 3 indian army commanders were non hindus. Gen.Maneckshaw was a parsee, Lt. Gen J S Arora, a sikh and Major General JFR Jacob is a jew. What i wanted to say was that even muslims in india can hope to reach the top provided they come out of their ghettoised mindset.

Why you have raised a question about a hindu?
The problem is Pakistan is not able to control its own people and always tries to dictate us, on what to do with our own muslims, its hilarious that your own muslims are suffering from many problems but rather giving them importance, pakistan gives unnecessary advices to India.

I do not disagree with bringing it to world's attention but rebuttal of same thing over years becomes useless exercise.
