That's in terms of the training, but it may acquire a few for specialized roles. It clearly sees the value of a twin-seater in the context of the F-16D, would be natural to extend that to the JF-17. It could even use the twin-seater to serve as a dedicated EW/ECM asset, like the EA-18G. An asset like that accompanying a flight of JF-17s could give an adversary a lot of trouble.

Then the question remains, would the PAF induct it? Like you said, there are clear advantages, but PAF has remained adamant that they're not looking to buy the twin seat.

They will actually, the current ACM said so in this interview:

There are many photos of PAF JF-17s with blue SD-10 training rounds. The PAF wouldn't be training with them if they weren't operable.

That's just a weak opinion, not fact. They need to actually disprove the PAF's claim of the JF-17 not being BVR capable.

Pakistan AF need dual seat Advanced platform for Training/ground attack roles that's why PAF has decided to launch dual seat JF-17B Thunder this year.JF-17B Thunder will also attract more buyers in the market and there are some customers who have shown their interest in dual seat JF-17Bs

where did you pull this story from? what is your source that it is happening this year?

it really brings down the quality of the forum when people like you make few liner threads with definitive titles without any source. a much loathed misleading Pakistani mentality.

Yeah the ''leaked'' pics of new aircraft will began to circulate by the Mid of this year ................. though the Final product will be ready by end of this year or start of next year .....................

how do you know? I doubt if the work has even left the discussion and planning table yet.
apart from some CGI and photoshops or some mockup scale models on table there is nothing to substantiate the claim.
