In reality, when Afghan soldiers couldn't be bothered to train when given the best training and equipment in the world by the US military, this happens. I don't know what they wish to achieve by these statements. It's not going to reverse the Taliban takeover.

It's like they are trying to antagonise Pakistan and somehow please India.

I get expressing concerns for our own country but why is he making it out to be like the superpowers of the world+ pakistan are out to get not just Iran but also India.

Pakistan didn't support the Taliban to spite Iran, it was to secure our western border. Yet, it seems they are taking it, and broadcasting it in a manner to make it seem like Pakistan is out to get Iran.

The Turks had good relations with the ANA and the Uzbeks and the Tajiks etc. They never said anything against Pakistan even if they may have had disagreements with us.

Iranians should learn from the Turks.

He's talking crap against the US as well. The only country who's interests line with Iran is India according to him.

Yes it was a tactically brilliant and highly sophisticated operation by Pakistan, and the Taliban took over all of A-Stan swiftly. THIS IS CALLED ABSOLUTE POWER ! Now, what is Iran going to do about it?? Here is the answer - NOTHING. Because Iran knows very well that what happened in A-Stan is proof of presence of a superior military power in its neighborhood, and Iran can do nothing more than scream like a little girl, and complain that grapes are sour.

But at the end of the day, for long term stability of Talib regime

Iran is needed, they'll have to make up with Iran

You like it or not but Iran can do stuff, maybe not take whole of Afghan but they can raise their own proxies

So for the neighborhood Afghanistan is in they need to be in at least neutral to friendly terms with both Iran and Pakistan
