Pakistan attempting to destabilize Afghanistan by arming, funding militamen

The Pakistani intelligence agencies are looking to destabilize Afghanistan by funding and arming militiamen within the Afghan territory across Durand Line.

The issue was discussed during the National Security Council (NSC) meeting chaired by President Hamid Karzai on Sunday.

Presidential palace media office, following a statement, said the Ministry of Defense presented its report regarding the latest attempts by Pakistani intelligence to destabilize Afghanistan by funding the militiamen and provoke them against the residents on this side of Durand Line.

According to the Ministry of Defense report, the militiamen are also paid 30,000 Pakistani rupees on monthly basis besides arming them in a bid to use them to destabilize the regions located across the Durand Line in Afghan soil.

It was concluded during the National Security Council (NSC) meeting that the latest attempts by Pakistani intelligence are a major threat to the unity of the residents on the two sides of Durand Line, the statement by presidential palace said.

The relevant security institutions were instructed to take necessary actions to repel the attempts of Pakistani intelligence and inform the local residents in this regard.

It is well known that pak supports and funds talibans. what i am curious to find out is for how long though after nato leaves. Russia and china are defiantly coming in to look for their own interests.

First point --- the article states "major threat to unity of residents on 2 sides of Durand Line" meaning our spooks are posing a threat to the people of FATA (Pakistan). I myself hail from the Tribal Areas - and I view Afghan puppets of Kabul as the single biggest threats to the unity of the 2 entire nations. Forget just local residents. The influx of refugees from Afghanistan (5.5 to 6 million to be exact) has been the real burden on us. It's not the other way around!

What Karzai says or speaks about is irrelevant. His career is finished. His time is up. He is isolated. Absolutely nobody takes him seriously - not even his american masters who have completely abandonded him.

His intelligence apparatus has an agenda against Pakistan but as NATO steadily (but not immediately) and gradually reduces its footprint, you can be sure Pakistan will hunt down each and every element from grass-roots level to top level - anyone that has allowed Afghan soil to be used against Pakistan.

It's not just in our national interests to do that. It's our existential right. We've been the MOST generous nation to Afghanistan on the face of this motherfucking earth. In exchange we got little gratitude in return.

the fact that the Pakistani Intelligence community has the asses of these Afghan puppets in Kabul burning - means ISI must be doing something right. Those assholes allow regional enemies to use Afghan soil to destabilize Pakistan - on 2 fronts (Balochisthan Province and FATA).

Such things wont go unresponded.

Lastly -going by the logic that "Pakistan supports taleban" (as some of our "treasured" indian guests here claim) -- then so do the Americans, the Saudis, the Qataris, even the Iranians!

My Turkish brother! Pakistan is not arming terrorists. We have been in war with them for 13 years and have recently launched operation against them in waziristan. We have sacrificed our 80000+ people and everything to destroy them.
And secondly 7million Afghanis are living in Pakistan as refugees and their economy is totally dependent on Pakistan because Pakistan is biggest importer and exporter of Afghanistan, we are helping afghanis in all aspects.

Some of very well respected pakistan members have pointed out that numerous times. Those ones don't live in denial. If i even give you a source backing up my claim, you would label it as "western funded propaganda"...and we would go back to square one. I have seen that happen many times.

Sadly Afghanistan is a battle ground of many games /countries all waiting for withdrawl, this happens when you are a weak country at such a important geostretgic location but I hope somehow Afghan people get a strong representative govt that would be a good start.
