how is it that Pakistan doesn't have a civil force that carries out mountain rescue?
Civil forces don't have helicopters in Pakistan and this on of the highest mountains in the world so thin Air make it really difficult for any civil force to rescue in this condition. Army only uses troops trained for high glacier posting in such situation. These 2 climbers are stuck in a very difficult situation hope we get them before the climbers get in trouble.

It is currently snowing hard the wind just died down to 8 km but few hours ago it was very strong. and the height is 8126 m from sea level so you can imagine how much oxygen is there for operation.

If I remember correctly so far 30 climber have lost their lives on this mountain and it is one of the most difficult in the world to climb only the most daring one think about conquering the summit of Naga Parbat.

.
Because there are very few cases happens of this nature and civil service don't have resources and equipment to do that further army / armed forces conducted this type of operation before and awarded even from foreign countries.

No his post is not propaganda...it is totally pertinent to the content of the thread and the question "why don't we have a civilian rescue service for such situations"

My friend AW-139 max altitude ceiling is 6096 meters and that is not it's hover ceiling so you cannot use that. SAR cannot be used as well so can we move on now? I have already given Nawaz lannat so please don't derail any more.
