anyways... Kaonalpha i have to thank u for inciting me to search for this info...it took me quite a while. i now sincerely wish we go for something like OPLOT BM-PK... but whatever we opt for will be here forever now and must counter T-90 and Arjun 2.

On a side note things would have been alot different if only uncle sam would have not interfered with the AK deal and not given those Abrahams to saudis..

If you are there especially sitting In Armoured Corps centre or School and comfort is your main requirement I can make that happen. And if you are from a cavaly unit or some horse unit .I'll have a Guides officers correct your frame mind explicitly .

Sir are we testing 4 Tanks ? I know one is MBT-3000 and second one is T-84 oplot-m but are there two more being tested

You can easily rule out Abrahams, Leopards, Lecrec, Type 10, Merkava and T90.

So this leaves us with very few capable options.. Chinese, Italians, Turkish and may be Korean. What is happening with Alty, Ariete and K2 is something Dazzler, Kaonalpha or some other member would need to confirm. i am not privy to that information.

K2 should be tested Sir we can get them without much of a fuss and also they are way advance. We signed some defence contracts with them recently. K2 should be and must be tested

Zavran... bro K2 Tested.. yes.. bought.. i doubt.
Reason... Cost, German licensed parts, 120 mm gun and lastly maintenance cost.

Ariete from Italy is a better bet. they are said to be working on a version 2, are short or lets say in need of cash. Always have been more open to business dealings and licensed production.

If left to me i would see and evaluate every MBT that i can sit in.. and ask for a much modernised OPLOT-MB-PK. Its a decent tank with alot of commonality with AKs.

Such a high level acquisition is not completed so hastily, the PA has plenty of options and they are all being looked into.

So the guessing game is bringing in unofficial names .

Sir Jee by your post I have compiled a list which may be very close to what we are testing.

MBT-3000 yes we all know and definitely OPLOT-BM with Bespoke Customisation. Altay is out of question here for now but Ariete carries a bit of surprise for me where as I believe K2 is a very very good contender even with 3rd party equipments as some of them can be replaced with our compatible systems such as main gun.
