Strong quake hits southwest Balochistan


KARACHI: A strong earthquake of magnitude measuring 7.8 struck the Dalbandin area in Balochistan province on Tuesday, said the US Geoplogical Survery.

According to intial television reports, the tremors were felt in different parts of balochistan as well as Sindh province, including Karachi, Lahore, Jacobabad, Khairpur, and Nowshero Feroz.

So far, no reports have been received of any damage to human life or property.
